"Comfortable but Outdated"
You may think you are walking back in time when you enter the yellowing flowered wall papered room. Ours had one chair by the window next to a table that seemed to be missing a second chair. No coffee maker, no refrigerator, old tv and the room attendant was late to work so no coffee room service in the morning. "Like being in Denmark!!"
This was an awesome get-away!! Like being in Demark without having to leave the U.S. Spacious room with great courtyard view. Walking distance to downtown, mission, etc. Great European breakfast, served from 7-11a.m. with delicious Danish pastries, fresh cut fruit, hot hard boiled eggs, cheese, ham, etc. served in the dining room. "Stay in the Garden Rooms"

"Beautiful Hotel in a beautiful village"
My wife and I do an annual half-marathon in Solvang every year and we always stay at the Peterson Village Inn. The rooms are extremely nice. Nicer than what they actually charge! This hotel was very clean and charming in a traditional Danish way. The bathroom was a bit dated, but in good repair and clean. The service was excellent; a very attentive staff.
