I have stayed here a couple of times in the past and will continue to stay here when I visit Phoenix. I wake up go down and have my cereal, yogurt, and juice and coffee then I'm gone for the day. The dirty rug had a large dark stain under the desk as you walked in. "Scary!!!"
The staff was friendly.....it was down hill from there. We got to our room and the first thing I noticed was the smell. I can't tell you what it was, but it wasn't pleasant. We closed the door and there was graffiti on the inside of the door warning us to lock the door or "it will be your a**!" I checked out the bathroom next. I could see filth running […] down the outside of the bathtub. The inside was even worse. It appeared as if they had painted the shower walls and the tub itself and the paint was peeling off. We checked out and went next door to the Fairfield Inn. After the nightmare we just saw, this place was a palace!! We found out later that the Super 8 we were at is a known meth house. "Ok hotel for one night"
The hotel is not very well maintained. The lights of the bathroom reminded me of a rave dance stroboscopic effect and the microwave and microwave are begging for someone to end their suffering. I enjoyed the stay but th hotel was a great disappointment. The plumbing was sketchy, the bathtub was filthy( couldve used a bleaching). Spent a week at this location while looking for a house to buy. The staff was very friendly, and for the price there is no better. The carpet did have some spots, but nothing you couldnt overlook for this price. The pool was heated and clean, the bottom ot the pool needs to be painted. Breakfast consisted of toast, waffles, oatmeal, orange juice, coffee. […] tea, milk, cereal, yogurt and apples. They kept the dining room clean and stocked. This hotel was disappointing. The instant we opened the door to the room we were hit with an unbelievably strong perfume smell. Not sure if it was from the laundry or air freshener. It gave an instant headache. The alarm clock wouldn't work & the remote for the tv wouldn't work either. The front desk person told us the room was just outside the office, […] when it was actually clear at the END of the building.
