Convenient location. Disappointed that the hot tub was not in working order. The rooms could use updating; carpets were beyond stained & there was mold in the bathroom. Won't be staying there again.

The dirty rug had a large dark stain under the desk as you walked in. The sheer curtain had a tear in it, there was a lightbulb missing from the bedisde lamp, there was only one bedside table, which means that you have no where to put your phone, glasses, etc. when you go to bed.On the plus side, the breakfast was good if carb heavy. The beds and linen were clean and comfortable enough. Bathroom was clean. Hot water cut in and out but was good enough. The walls and dirty were very dirty and dusty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. That's ok I didn't pick this hotel for the walls, I picked it for the price. There was some noise outside until about 12 0r 1 am every […] night, which is pretty standard for cheaper places. My only problem with that is that the A/C and heater didn't work, so to get some white noise I had to turn on the fan. I was not very pleased with this hotel. The location was good for the places i needed to go. Very run down. Needs maintenance. Could see outside with door closed. Good thing it didn't flood cuz there was nothing under door to stop anything from coming in. Service wasn't very friendly and breakfast could use upgrade.

Night one, I discovered that the hot tub was broken, but it was late and I went straight to bed. I was too excited about the day's events to take a good look at the room when I woke-up, but, before leaving for my granddaughter's graduation party, I made the bed (they left a note suggesting that I should sleep on the same sheets more than once), left […] the towels unused (as I had brought my own), and bagged my trash (because that's the way I am). That didn't leave much to be done, by the housekeeping department. Why then, was there a black ring around the water line in the toilet? Had I seen it when I check-in, I would have checked-out. There were large carpet stains and the control knob to the heat/cool unit was broken. They did repaitr the bath outlet which did not work. Poor quality TV.

Staff was very helpful and nice. Beds were really firm. Room smelled like pet urine. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. The continental breakfast was not impressive......Not much food avail. to choose from.

You get what you pay for with the super 8- north phx. I was disappointed that i tried to get into my room a couple of hours early, called the front desk and was told sure. When i got there at the arranged time, the front desk clerk said there was nothing available. She was very short and not customer serviced orientated. The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke although it is a non-smoking room now. I recommend some plug-ins so the rooms smell better. The beds were incredibly comfortably! Also, we had a room 2 doors from the office and that was a big mistake. It wasn't very nice with guests outside throwing f bombs every other word and peeling out in the parking […] lot. We had the bathroom fan on and the a/c fan on but could still hear the noise outside so we did not sleep well.
