The front desk service at the hotel was great, very helpful. The room itself was decent. Bed was comfortable and I couldn't hear any outside noises. Just a note: there's no hair dryer in the room but one can be checked out from the front desk. Also, they only give you a packet of shampoo and no conditioner.

The room had no bath towels and when I called to get some brought up I was told I needed to go down there myself and with a little one already in the shower that was not going to happen. No hair dryer in the room that needed to be gotten at the front desk as well.

For the price, YES!...and if you are going to see spring training with the Boyz.,it will do....Don't forget to leave a couple of bucks for the maid every day and throw your beer cans in the trashcan... No Passport Required!

Overall just about acceptable, but nothing further than that. Noise from neighbours and from the I10 (right outside the window) was annoying. Hotel lacked any character, but furnishings were reasonably comfortable. Overall, I wouldnt necessarily recommend, but depends upon the price.

I found it hard to believe; 2 queen beds had no refridgerator or microwave - no clothes irons in rooms - I have been in many hotels in many cities - This was my first time without those items

A place to stay and near the fairgrounds

While the location is great and right next to the 10 freeway, the building is obviously an older location that has had a few patches done, some new paint thrown on it and a new sign that is different than most other Red Roof signs. There are minor physical repairs that are needed, the front entry lobby needs some work, as does the hallway wallpaper […] and carpeting in some areas. When you consider, however, that this location is in Phoenix, you must also consider what the heat does to most buildings...dry and hot...hence some repairs needed. The staff was nice, attentive, quick at serving needs and smiled...that counts. The facility was decent when you consider the price...it was exactly what was expected. Cleaner than expected as well. The only thing that I would say is that the pictures you see on the website of the room...yeah, that is not what the rooms look like in this particular hotel. There was 1 bug we found on top of the bed cover & when rooms were switched (which took a very long time to wait for this service), we found a hair inside the covers. Otherwise, the hotel seems clean.

I requested a room in a quiet location and the desk clerk did the best she could EXCEPT that a very noisy couple who argued until 2 am were either below my room (#235) or next door. I couldn't tell where the noise originated from. Further, the room was next to the stairwell and there were frequent door slammings and openings until about 2 am. Apparently […] the same couple. Affordable place to stay. Beds are comfortable. Not much extra as far as business center,breakfast, or exercise room. McD's right next door for breakfast, however.Good location if staying for a baseball,football,or basketball game. Easy access to each of these venues. Actually seemed right in the middle of the 3 stadiums/arenas.

Just stayed for one night in my way from the Grand Canyon to San Diego. Hotel is conveniently located nearby the highway (not a very friendly neighborhood though). Room has a good size but, if you choose 2 double beds, be aware that you can't fit 2 adults in one bed. Overall it was a good stay.

For some reason we received a handicapped accessible room, which included a huge bathroom but very small "bedroom". The beds were full size, not queen size!!! Also, only coffee and hot tea offered in the morning.

It was an older bldg & I did not like the set up..Only one elevator in the middle of Hotel. However my 10 & 8 year olds liked it there & the staff were very nice to them as they ran through the halls! The pool was small and no Jacuzzi.. The bathroom could have been alot cleaner.. But it was rigt off I-10 and across the street from I- Hop... :)

I checked in late in the evening on 10/22/12. I didn't want to walk on the carpets barefoot. The towels were slightly dingy looking. I checked the sheets before going to bed and there was something (possibly a smashed bug or a big nasty booger?) on the top sheet. Called the front desk and the man that came to bring clean sheets asked if I wanted him […] to make the bed. hmmm.... ummm, yes please. He stated it had been a very long time since he had made a bed, which was evident. I helped him. As I was to be waking in a strange place I prefer to have a clock that is operating so I can know what time it is. The clock was off by several hours and I attempted to adjust the time, but was only able to change time zones and the time set was incorrect for all time zones. When I called the front desk for assistance they sent the security guard to help. He was very sweet and tried hard to fix the problem, for about twenty minutes, apologizing all the while for keeping me up. Eventually he got the clock within an hour of the correct time and we called it good. The staff was helpful and wanted to please but did not seem quite capable. I had a problem with my luggage upon leaving and the man that came to tell me it was check-out time was helpful. While leaving there was apparently a discrepancy between the front desk staff and two women guests who ended up waiting outside the front doors after yelling at the staff. We were loading my luggage as the police were pulling into the parking lot. Read more
