"Hampton Inn Dover-No Microwave & VERY Noisy A/C"
The hotel has ONE microwave in the lobby ONLY !!!! When we requested one microwave for our room, the attendant at the front desk informed us that the ONLY microwave they have is located in the lobby. Obviously this didn't help particularly that we have a 3 month-old baby on formula. Can you imagine us throughout the night (almost every 2-3 hours) taking […] the elevator down to the lobby to prepare a formula bottle? Another issue with all rooms (I believe) is the heating unit. "Be aware of the nasty grinding noise of the heating unit" when it turns on heat. It is almost unbearable the first night but as time goes on, you sort of get used to it.... "Weekend in NH"
The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, plenty of restaurants in the area, breakfast was quite good, all of the technology/business center was in good working condition and our family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The quality of the beds and linen were most memorable as they FAR exceeded expectations. In addition, it was nice having the front desk receptions go out of their way to find a wine bottle opener in the kitchen.
