    The hotel was nice, beds comfortable, clean. Location is great. Free dinner time fast food was a nice touch. However I couldn't get the room temperature... cooler than 75 degrees even when I set the thermostat to 72. And the indoor pool was freezing! I lasted about 5 min and then had to go sit in the whirlpool, which was nice but still not as warm as those usually are. by Lisa  from Lawton, OK on 04/30/13

    The room smelled like cigarette smoke. We asked the girl at the desk for eating recommendations ... it was 10 o'clock at night ... she had nothing to recommend. Everything was closed. Found the Applebee's ... that was a disaster ... smoke filled restaurant with karoake and really bad food.

    The hotel is nice, but has a few BIG problems. I swear it seemed like 50% of the people staying there over the holidays had dogs. Small, yappy dogs. We had to call the front desk because our next door neighbor had a small dog that barked the ENTIRE time she was at breakfast at 6 am. NON STOP BARKING. It was so annoying! Especially waking up to it in […] the early morning hours! The lady at the desk was wonderful though. When we did call, she moved us to a suite on another floor - which was wonderful! The other huge problem is the doors are so heavy that even if you make an effort (which most people don't) to quietly close the door, it still sounds like you are slamming it. We did notice though, once we were moved to the suite - we didn't hear the door noise nearly as much. So, in all - the hotel is nice, the people are friendly and helpful , the happy hour is awesome, the breakfast is awesome, but if you enjoy sleep - be sure to request a suite preferably away from everyone's dogs.     I can't believe how many restaraunts are right next to this hotel. That said this place was perfect. The rooms were big and comfy. The indoor pool was nice and so was the staff. Breakfast and the kickback are great. I will stay at the Drury the next time I get a chance.

    We really appreciated the evening appetizer/snack buffet. It was plenty of food and the free drinks were an added bonus. Everything else was excellent for this level hotel (3 star). We would stay there again without hesitation.

I went into the bathroom and the small bottles of shampoo they provide had been opened and half used. I went to the front desk and they apologized and offered to move us.     Bathtub was not clean and why do hotels put a grab bar right in the middle of the shower wall where you hit your backside on it. Can't they put it at the end of the shower where you need it to get out of the tub? Also towels need to be replaced badly. Almost all towels had stains on them. Sheets did not fit bed and looked very shabby.

    Our experience was Wonderful!!! The rooms were very clean & the staff was great... This hotel offered a free HOT Breakfast, I must say that was the best breakfast I have had in a long time.. My entire family had a great time. Kids, Husband and myself.. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends..

    I was very impressed with this three-star hotel. I wasn't expecting it to be so nice. Whoever is the head housekeeper was so extremely sweet and friendly. Great personality. As well as the head cook in the breakfast buffet. Wonderful staff and I would definitely stay here again if I find myself needing to stay overnight in Amarillo.

    I love the Drury. I couldn't be happier now that they are a partner on hotels.com. This stop wasn't one of the best shows for the Drury, but I'd stay here again and give them another chance at this location. There was a standing puddle outside of the entrance to the pool.
