"Not worth the low cost"
The room was dirty. I didn't want to touch anything! The floor had not been vacuumed. I could go on and on about the filth. One of my pillows did not have a pillow case. "Service not that good!"
When I arrived at the check-in desk there was no one at the check-in desk. After about 30 seconds she came from the back and her first words were "what's up". That is not the way to greet a guess. When we booked we asked for a non-smoking room but the lady said there wasn't any. After about 2 minutes checking the computer she said she did have one on […] the first floor. However when we arrived in the room the smell of cigarrett smoke was very strong in the room. The smell of the pillows on the bed were not pleasant so we had to cover them with some towls from the hotel room. The price was okay but it is not worth it because of the discomfort we experience. "Close to wi-fi spot"
Wi-fi did not work except in the lobby. I needed wifi to perform my work which I could not do in the small lobby. While waiting in the lobby for assistance I overheard multiple complaints of the other occupants re: dirty room, mold in the shower and refrigerator. When asked at checkout, "how was your stay?" I stated, "very nasty." The desk clerk respond, "I'm sorry" and went about her gossiping. She could care less. The toilet hardly flushed, the bed was hard, the carpet was stained. Supposedly, we had a signature room that was remodelled. Our king size we reserved was not available, so we were stuck with that. "Not the best..."
Green fungus growing under the toilet seat, cigarette burns on tub and blanket, coffee maker covered in a sticky goo...kitchen came with one fork, one spoon, one bowl...a beat up old pot with no lid. "Last time at thsi hotel."
No TV remote, missing towels - they replaced quickly. TV was damaged before check-in and they could not repair/replace. Heater on high as hot as possible would not keep room at comfortable temp. The door had a 1" gap letting daylight and cold air into the room. Had to sleep in sweats. Bed box springs had been soaked with some liquid and showed significant […] staining (mold?). Room had musty/moldy smell. Open piles of trash in stairwells. Generally dirty corridors/elevator. I've stayed there in the past over the years and they have been continually getting worse. The front desk clerk was rude & dressed unprofessionally. Her shirt was unbuttoned, her sweater was about 5 sizes too small, shirt was untucked, pants were way too low & her belly was exposed. If you like the smell of urine, this hotel is for you! This is definately a monthly rental hotel with no attempt at keeping the hotel decent for nightly renters. We had drug seeking hotel residents asking us for money and/or drugs the moment we walked into the front lobby. There was nobody available at the front desk to check us in upon arrival. The room smelled like urine and you could tell the place had not been cleaned properly in a very long time. "Dirty and loud!!!"
Room stunk of cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Manager even sent in cleaning crew to respray air freshener right before I went to my room. Wir haben schon ca über 100 Hotels in den USA übernachtet, aber ein so schmutziges Zimmer haben wir noch nie gehabt .Kein Stern für dises Hotel!
