I was not happy at all. First we had to wait at least an hour to get checked in. We were going to a fundraising events and check in took so long that we had to leave or bags behind the front desk,go to our event and then they called us and told us that our room was ready. Then my husband had to leave our fundraiser go back and get the key to check in. […] And all they gave us was a free breakfast. The bathtub stopper didn't work, I couldn't take a bath. No microwave or refrigerator in the room. Very disappointed in this 5 star hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Mediocre"
Location was great! We had a very short walk to downtown and took advantage! The place was very clean and the lobby/bar area was very nice in appearance! However, the room we stayed in was not what we were expecting. It was definitely a far cry from cheaper hotels, but I did not see where the extra money went. (We paid for the deluxe room) no mini fridge […] (only upon request), no pens for jotting notes about a plan for the night, the room was tiny, the tv was cheap and did not come with the "gaming console" that was listed in the description, AND on top of all that we made the mistake of opening the bar menu... $109 for a liter of crown! $96 for a case of cheap domestic beer! Holy cow! We went downstairs to check out the bar while we waited on some friends and even there the drinks were completely overpriced. We ended up finding a liquor and saved hundreds of dollars that way. The only complaint I had about service was about the bar. The female bartender had a sour attitude after I had to interrupt her and, whom I assume was, her boss bickering about something, just so we could get drinks. Overall, not the experience we hoped (or paid) for, but not a complete loss. Next time I will try another hotel in the same area. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stay away"
We asked for a King bed, but got a room with 2 beds instead. The valet lost our keys for 30 minutes. During that time, they tried to give us keys to 2 other vehicles. Room service was very rude. It was a pretty awful stay for our first experience with the Peabody in Little RockGenuine Expedia guest review

"Poor Staffing"
The first morning I called down to have our car brought around, and it took 30 minutes of me sitting and waiting to finally go and ask if our car was on its way. They said it was, only to find out that they never did get it when I called from my room. The second night I asked for 2 queen beds instead of the king. I was assured I could have them, given […] my room keys, and sent on my way. When I opened the door to our room it was ONE king bed. I called down to tell them that they had given us the wrong room, and ask if I needed to come down to get the new room keys. They said that they would have someone right up to give us the keys and told us what room number to meet them at. After waiting there for at least 25 minutes, I had to go ahead and grab my heavy luggage, and carry it with me all the way back down to the front desk. When I told the staff I was supossed to have been given new room keys up to my room, a man rushed over and said, "oh, here are your new room keys". THEN, when I went to make sure that both keys worked on the room...of course only one did. I was just glad that I checked before we left because I had to give one room key to our other friends and keep one for myself. After dealing with all of this, we were finally able to head to the concert we were going to see, only to be late and miss the beginning! It was late by the time that we finally returned to the hotel, and our friends may not have been able to get in to our room! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"BAD EXPERIENCE!"
The hotel was definitely lovely and had all of the conveniences. We unfortunately were staying there the same weekend as the President of Mexico and due to his security were detained in the lobby for 30 minutes unable to leave or go to our rooms. It was absolutely ridiculous. It was never disclosed to any of the guests that we would be subjected to […] this. One poor lady was stuck at the reception desk with her dog another group was trapped on the other side of the lobby. Better arrangememts should have been made to accomodate those that paid for their rooms and not be treated as second class citizens of our own country. The Peabody was responsible for the comfort of ALL of it's guests and they failed miserably. "was pretty good but a couple points ruined it"
It is a very nice hotel but i was disappointed that they overbooked and I did not get the two rooms with double beds that I reserved. It took 20 minutes downstairs to wrangle two rooms at all and one just had one bed meaning my two guy friends had to sleep together. One ended up sleeping on the floor. There was no discount or apologies offered. Also […] I didn't know that you are not allowed to park your own vehicle there. Valet parking is required and costs 20 a day that we didn't factor in. "Anniversary Outing..."
Had never stayed at the Peabody before...it was reommended by several people we had known who stayed there years ago. The hotel is beautiful, but there were a few things we found unacceptable. There was a dirty ice bucket in-room, really high charges for overnight valet that we were not made aware of and no coffee pot in the room. That was a real disappointment...coffee […] downstairs was very expensive to purchase. Just seemed like, for the price, some of the basic simple things were overlooked. We won't stay there again. "Definitely NOT impressed"
First of all, the hotel had NO public parking lot (valet only) so we had to wait over 30 minutes for our car to arrive after check out. Once we arrived, our original 2 bed room that was originally booked (and confirmed via phone) was NOT available. We were offered a roll-away bed for our room, which we said "OK" to. We waited for almost 2 hrs before […] calling the front desk at which time the person told us that all of the roll-aways were already given to other guests. SO, we ended up cramming 4 people in one king-size bed!!! To top everything else off, the room didn't even provide enough towels for the number of people staying in the room! Overall, I was not impressed with the hotel due to lack of service and lack of "normal" amneties. I've had much better experiences with the Holiday Inn!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
""Bless there hearts -- not really""
In the south they say "Bless his heart" when someone is dumb but sweet and oblivious. This is a great description of this hotel. I have stayed there three times. The place is very nice but they almost never get things right the first (or second) time but keep trying. The information given by the workers is almost always inaccurate. Room service is very […] expensive. Each visit they have messed up billing, didn't have requested items we reserved ahead of time (and called to confirm) and didn't return phone calls at all, even when promissed. The locate and ducks are nice. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Will never stay there again!"
I was shocked at staff's behavior while staying at the Peabody. The only pleasant encounters I had were with the gift shop, front desk, and room service personnel. The restaurant food was excellent but the staff seemed confused and ill trained. They kept running around our 2 tables without presenting the lunch specials or explaining the salad/pasta […] bar. We had to ask several times for menus, explanations, and drinks. The front lobby reeked of smoke from the bar. You could smell it all the way upstairs on the 12th floor. The valet experience was awful. When I checked in they gave me instructions on how to call ahead 15min to request my car. The next day I called ahead, waited 15 mins then went downstairs. I then stood outside in 100 degree heat and waited for another 15 min. 5 valets were working and none of them asked me if I needed any help. They didn't even ask if I needed a cab. I went inside to the valet closet and saw my keys still hanging on the rack. I asked about my car and the man said someone was out getting it right then. I told him that would be difficult since I could see my keys from where I was standing. I then waited another 15 min for them to bring my car. That night when I returned I was scolded for pulling into the wrong drop-off lane. Neither lane was marked at that time. The valet experience was repeated in various ways over the next 4 days and left me with a very bad impression of this hotel. I will never stay at this hotel again. "extra!"
Service was great, clean, but no free parking forces you to pay the $20 parking, no fridge or coffee in the room encourages use of room $ervice. If they need all the extra it should be up front. The ducks dont justify a stay at this antiquated facility.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overrated, questionable value for the price"
Age is showing on this hotel with a great location. Valet parking a rip off as I was tipping $5+ to get the car and then find upon leaving was billed $22+/night for parking. Street parking is only other option and very little is available. Carpet in room stained. No comfortable chair in the room, only desk chair. Robes were provided the first night […] but none left by housekeeping for the 2nd night. When requested, they only brought one up. The view is the only thing really great about this hotel, but, you can only look out the window so much. If I were to stay in downtown Little Rock I would look at the Capitol or Doubletree hotels which are almost adjacent to this property. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
