The hotel staff didnt talk to you much, which made you feel unwelcome. On our second day there they decided to clean the carpets and it smelled like vomit throughout the whole hotel. The hotel looks like it needs repairs. It appeared dirty and it smelled awful. To top off when we booked the room with Hotels.com the rep told us the hotel had cribs and so she noted down we wanted a crib in the room. Looks good from the outside, but rooms are in less than average condition. Have stayed here twice and both times the rooms were hot and stuffy when I entered, and even after running the air conditioner for several hours, the rooms did not cool down adequately. Very uncomfortable.

This hotel is on the service road of I35 and next door to a Jack-in-the Box and a Waffle House although the hotel offers a more than adequate breakfast. The hotel was renovated in recent years and so looks good. Our room had a burn mark from an iron where someone had ironed on the rug! I stayed here while on a business trip recently, and I have mixed feelings for my stay. I got in after 10pm and was greeted pleasantly and checked in quickly. I found their power saving interesting (if you want power for the lights in your room you have to put your key card into a slot next to the door inside the room.) When I got into the room, I was […] impressed with the size of the room and how neat and tidy it looked. The room was warm and very stuffy so I turned on the a/c to max and went to bed. The A/c could not cool the room to be comfortable. About 4am I finally able to get to sleep but the room never got cold. The bed was comfortable but I found another persons painted nail clippings in the bed which grossed me out, since this meant they had not changed the sheets between guests.
