"Not going again"

"Won't make that mistake again."
The hotel did not have a working elevator, which I do not believe was relayed when I made my arrangements. The water in the shower never would get even warm so I was not able to use it. The faucet at the sink was stripped and I had to turn the handle just right to get the water to turn off. So I get there and for 5 minutes I'm watching a guy order food and didn't even acknowledge me ONCE...I got there for early check-in and they gave me a room key. "Hotel Experience"
This hotel was far from welcoming. With first checking in, they apparently overbooked and provided us with a room with 2 queen beds as opposed to one king sized bed. That was fine, but we had to stand at the front counter for almost 10 minutes while people walked in and out from behind the counter. There is a set of stairs that lead you to the second floor. The hallway was hot and unappleaing to the eye. Thankfully our room was decent and spacious. The AC took a few hours to cool the room down...hello, it's 100+ in Texas, at least put the air on. There was 1 ice machine (which ran out of ice one night) and was very inconvenient. I was a little nervous when checking in as the facility was in an industrial area just off the freeway. The hallways were dreary & the doors to the room very very dark and rough looking. HOWEVER, once I opened the door to the room I found it to be VERY clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. The air conditioning kept the room extremely cool.
