The place has really gone downhill, from years ago. I do not think it is worth the money anymore! We stayed at the Ashworth during the Christmas holiday and had a very pleasant experience. We chose the Ashworth because it is only a few miles away from family. It is an older hotel with a lot of history, so it is not a cookie-cutter type of establishment. This place has charm and a unique feel. The room had an ocean view with a small walk out patio […] and the bathroom was ample with an adjustable showerhead and large bathtub. There were plenty of channels to watch on the television and even the workout facility had a large screen tv. My only criticism is that some of the workout equipment could be updated, but overall I still got my workouts in when I wanted them and enjoyed the overall ambiance of the hotel. The waitress in the restaurant gave us a "I could care less about your 2-top now that a family of 6 just walked in" attitude and disappeared alot.
