I really enjoyed my stay in Memphis, TN on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. I was surprised that my reservation was still honored considering that I had attended a concert and arrived late to the hotel. The night staff member was very prompt, courteous and accurate. When i checked out the following morning, the housekeepers were very polite as I got off the […] elevator to make my departure. "No Extra time to check out"
The hotel was nice for the price; however, when I needed new towels I asked housekeeping for them and was advised I had to go to the front desk for them, but I had to take my dirty towels to them. This seemed odd when she had entire cart of towels. I was a little late checking out, but I called the front desk well ahead of time to ask for some extra […] time and was told I could check out at 1130. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 1102 an said she knew nothing about the later check out, then the clerk from the desk knock on the door to tell me it was 1115. Housekeeping waiting outside my door like I was being evicted from the property. It was really uncomfortable and unnecessary.. when I asked for new towels, I couldn't get anyone to bring them to me but here they are waiting by the door as I made trips to my car with my luggage. The room was GREAT especially with the small kitchen with refrigerator and microwave. I took along TV dinners that I could warm up in the microwave and keep sodas in the refrigerator. I was concerned about this reservation after reading the reviews with several comments about lack of cleanliness. Our room was perfectly cleaned -- including the kitchen facilities. Nothing was out of place, the full-size fridge and micro wave were wonderful and the room was very large. We ordered a king size bed and that was what we got and the bed […] was also comfortable. You couldn't do better for this price. The only thing missing was a hair dryer, but for this price, you can't expect too many amenities :).
