"Not as nice as it used to be"

"Pretty Good Experience"
My wife, daughter and I stayed at the hotel to visit with family over the holidays. When I checked the website for the hotel, it noted that they were pet friendly, but there was no mention of the $35/ night fee to be "pet-friendly." "Convenient to the Cape"
Overall a reasonable place to stay. Convenient to Cape Cod--the reason for our visit. Even though we booked a non-smoking room, our room smelled of cigarettes for the duration of our week-long stay. The front desk brought up a deionizer but it did little to help. Also, the bathroom had a noticeable moldy smell that didn't improve after housekeeping […] cleaned. The room itself was surprisingly not well maintained (tears in the lampshade, a few cigarette burns in the carpet, the mini-fridge needed de-icing--it leaked water on everything). These were unexpected issues since the hotel itself is relatively new. However, the staff was very pleasant. Free breakfast was a nice way to start the day. Amenities included pool, exercise room and laundry but these were all small.
