"Room changed without asking"
I reserved a signal room, but was given a double. This happened before and did think much of it. This is the 2nd time and now I think they are giving people doubles because they sell out of singles. They didn't even ask if they could switch me. I would have agreed. The next time this happens, I will be writing email to the manager. Other then that, […] the room was clean, and everything else was great. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Kellogg Conference Hotel"
Very poor service at the restaurant. Although the breakfast was till 9:30am, they ran out of regular coffee at 9am. When asked, they said they will not be making any more coffee. Also, the next morning, they refused to microwave something for us (since it had gone cold).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Car broken in to, hotel made no effort to help"
Overall condition of the hotel was decent. But our car was broken in to in the middle of the night. Got a call to see if we owned a Honda from the hotel. Said no because our car was a Toyota. Found out 2 hours later that it was actually our car that they broke into!! Wasted 4-5 hours of our trip figurung out all the police information. The hotel offered […] us a bottle of wine for our troubles! Poor compensation if you ask me! One other car was broken into also. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"If you want stress-free easy access of DC then DON'T stay here."
The hotel was nice. It is a hotel on a college campus for deaf people. it was interesting to see the evidence of this all over the hotel and the campus. there was a channel for deaf people, it was cool to see.The hotel and rooms was/ were decorated with old pictures of students in clubs. That was quite eerie and creepy. I went when school had ended […] so it was pretty empty. The rooms were nice, comfy, and modern. It is too far and not easily accessible to the main parts of DC. If you don't mind taking a taxi all the time and you want a difference experience (deaf campus) then stay here. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Kellog Conference Center in Washington, DC"
The hotel staff was friendly. That was the best part. Now, the downside. There's no room service, and no dinner. The breakfast offered is cold food, no hot food. The room was clean, but hotel is old. I paid way too much for what I got.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not as nice as it looks"
Front desk was not very friendly. Bed comforter had large (6 inch diameter) dark stain near head face area. Bed was soft and lumpy, seemed to be old. Washclothes were stained. Shower curtain had mildew stains on the inside. Vending machine ate our money and one of the elevators did not work one night. Ice machine on our floor was broken. internet never […] worked in room Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Kellogg Conference in DC - not as advertised"
My entire stay at the Kellogg Conference Hotel was a disappointment. My reservation was for a 2 bed room with continental breakfast. When I arrived, I was told my room only had 1 bed and the breakfast would not be honored. The location is poor if interested in most DC activities, and the hotel shuttle is not available for transport to DC locations as […] we had been mistakenly told by hotel staff. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We were told that the hotel was within walking distance of the Capitol. It was not. It was not divulged that the hotel was on a college campus. We were told that the hotel shuttle would be able to take us to the Mall (Memorial, etc...), or, at least to Union Station since we discovered that nothing was in walking distance. However, whenever we requested […] the shuttle, we were told to take the college shuttle, that dropped us at Union Station. The vending machines and ice machine on our floor didn't work and the front deesk often seemed to not understand what we were asking for but they knew how to collect our money. Would definitely not recommend this hotel unless you're visiting someone on the campus. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a good place to stay in DC."
The staff at the hotel were not friendly at all. The area around the Campus where the Hotel is located is very run down and not some place you would want to be at night. We walked a few blocks down to the train station early one mourning and I was not a comfortable walking in the area. The shuttle service only runs once per hour and it tend to be full […] so you have to reserve a seat a day or so in advance making it a little inconvenient. We wound up taking a taxi most of the time. After adding up all of the taxi fees, We would have been better off paying a little more and staying in the Mall area. The Parking is $18.00 / Day and is a long way from the hotel. There are NO restaurants any where near the hotel and the one in the hotel does not server dinner. The breakfast is expensive and not worth the money. The service was horrible. We never tried to eat lunch there, but I can't imagine it would be a good experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable and reasonably quite. That is about the only good thing I can say about the hotel. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to see the sites in the Mall area.... Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Hotell i Washington - svært dårlig nabolag!"
Enkelt å kjøre bil i Washington, helt noe annet enn New York.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
