The hotel was gorgeous and the service was excellent, but for the price, I expected more. Internet was not free and not cheap, either. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain, but was repaired once I brought it to the staff's attention. The toilet stopped flushing towards the end of our 8-day stay, but the suite had a powder room that worked fine. The water temp was a bit low for our family but certainly ok. I must admit the Ritz is a beautiful hotel. However, the only reason for my stay was because you were the only hotel that had immediate access to a Basketball court. My son wanted to stay at a hotel that had a court. While we had a wonderful time during our stay at the Ritz, we were a bit surprised that there was no microwave in the room or no pool […] in the middle court yard. The only pool, which was located in the adjoning Health Club, was accessible only if you paid the daily fee and if you were at least 16 years of age!!!!! One would think that such a stylish hotel as the Ritz would have had at least a pool, jacuzzi, and possibly a sauna too!! But all-in-all the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Read more

Please Read the whole message. When I arrived the first room had A/C problems they immediately moved me to another room. The A/C was not working in the 2nd room. They moved me to a 3rd room. I arrived feeling under the weather and the gentleman at the Registration desk noticed and offered to send up a pot of tea. It was a welcome effort. I was in town to visit family and spent a lot of time in the room because I was not feeling well. It was very comfortable. Close to GWU. I used my hotels.com credit for the night.
