In a bustling part of town for locals with several clubs around area but not far for a bike ride to the Smithsonian or walk to the White House. I was lucky enough to receive a room with a view of the park which was not a good thing at night. Made it very hard to sleep at night with the nightlife - constant honking, loud music playing and cars zooming […] by. Hotel lobby was overall very nice and the 14K restaurant was delicious and had many patrons. As for my room; wifi was not included and was $14, the bathtub floor was stained and there was no bath robe which is typical of most hotels. Lastly, I think it's a DC thing but do NOT let the bellhop grab you a cab to the airport. They pawn you off to their contacts who end up upcharging you. Just get your own taxi or uber! Read more

First two (2) nights were great. The third night I got no sleep due to club noise down the street, fights outside on the side-walk, and police lights due to those issues. Good location for my visit and easy access to the Metro station down the street. Staff were very helpful when I asked them questions.

The hotel and staff were great. Was in town for an even at The Hamilton Live which was a few blocks away. Check in was fast, rooms were imaculate and very stylish. Only complaint was that the room and hotel was very warm. The hallways were as if the heat was on and I thought I'd hate to see what it's like in the middle of summer. Our room, though thermostat […] was turned down to a chilly temp, never got cool enough. The beds were very comfotable with what seemd to be a feather pillow topper on the matress which in combination with the lack of cold enough A/C, kept your body warmth in and I found it warm all night and not fully getting a good night sleep. The staff is very accommodating. Our first night, it was very loud and noisy because our room was facing the front street. As soon as I mentioned that to the front desk, they moved us to a much quieter room. The rooms are very small but clean. We did not spend a lot of time in our room so it was fine.

The hotel was clean and attractive, including the rooms. We ate in the hotel dining room and we enjoyed our dinner. The bar was surprisingly busy. We parked in a public parking garage a block from the hotel and it was half as expensive and more convenient. The location was excellent. There is a Starbucks off the lobby. Very nice.

On arrival staff could not be more helpful, got our bags from the taxi, issue with key but solved quickly. Concierge very helpful with booking tours, great for our first time visit. Location was central, the room clean and very comfy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We liked this hotel. We would stay here again. It was pleasant, clean and well located. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved that there was a small fridge in the room and not a mini bar. Parking was super-expensive, though. That was the downside. Next time maybe the bus!

My stay was very good, with the exception of the hotel's Internet service. I'm the Editor of a daily Internet publication and I found myself having to wait for an extremely slow Internet connection, that constantly threw me off-line, or sat wasting my time while it loaded. On weekends, local bars close at 3am. When patrons do not leave, police show up and blow sirens and loud horns for almost two hours, trying to force patrons to exit the bars. When I complained about the noise, the desk clerk apologized and said she would not charge me for a $4.50 bottle of water I used from the mini bar. When my charge card bill arrived […] it had a $4.50 charge for water. The $4.50 is of no inconsequence, the fact that she said she would not charge me, and then proceeded to add it to my bill, is insulting. Other than that, the hotel was fine. It was clean, comfortable, with good service. It is most likely a good place to stay on weekdays, but if you value your sleep, never stay here on friday or saturday, at any price. Read more

Overall very nice... Room was small, but very nice, comfortable and clean. Good location for sightseeing. Service for the most part was very good except one call to the front desk where the clerk was very short. Great restaurant and breakfast... Parking VERY expensive.

I only stayed at the Crowne for one night, but enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was nice and the bed was comfortable. I also enjoyed the lobby bar and Starbucks. My only complaint would be that it took 45 minutes for the valet to bring our car around. We were told it would take 15.
