However, our room only had one night stand, which made the room look like it was missing something, but the rest of the amenities were great! "Walking distance to everything"
The hotel was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic compared to most other hotels and the location was perfect. Probably a 15 minute walk down to the mall and from there you can walk anywhere. We were able to check in at 9:00 AM, park our car for the next two days and never have to worry about driving or parking again […] while in the city. Huge relief. Excellent stay here. The breakfast was plentiful and the early dinner available was a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. My only recommendation would be to open up an additional room (Lincoln room, etc.) for the breakfast overflow, as it did get very crowded from 8:00AM onward and I had to sit out by the stairwell every morning since there […] were no seats available. The hotel has a fantastic breakfast available with just about anything one could wish for when it comes to a breakfast selection of food. Our room with 2 queen beds was HUGE, and nicely decorated. Nicely furnished kitchen with 2 burner cooktop, large refrigerator and microwave. Couch and television area. We booked a studio room so I assumed when we got their it would be quite small but to our surprise it was a very large space with a full sitting area (couch&chair/coffee table), full kitchen(full size fridge/stove/microwave/sink/utensils/glasses/dishwasher), small kitchen table to eat at, the bathroom was a nice size as well with a seperate area for […] the sink and mirror to get ready. We were so impressed with this room and everything it had come woth for the price we paid. The service at the hotel was also amazing, from the front door, valet to the workers in the breakfast area. The continential breakfast offered so many different varities of food (yogurt,waffles, bagels, eggs, sausage, fruit, ceral, cookies, muffins ...list goes on and on)..... The parking was a reasonable price $28/day and the location most of all was fantastic. Walk straight down about 5 blocks and you hit all the main attractions (whitehouse/ museums / old post office) ..etc .... The room itself was very nice, but there were a few issues that made the experience less than excellent. Our truck was "too large" for the hotel's parking, so we were sent to park at another hotel 3 blocks away (for $30 a night). Our room was on the 3rd floor, overlooking Vermont. The noise was constant, and especially bad Saturday night and beginning […] again early each morning. There also was a dog somewhere in the hotel that barked non stop whenever its owners left. Breakfast each morning was quite good, but very crowded and we had to wait for silverware, a place to sit, and food each day. Very friendly staff. Real problems at breakfast and manager's reception. Long waits in line, Food ran out and had to be constantly replenished while people waited.
