"Great location, great decor, horrendous service"
The hotel's decor is great, and the overall physical condition is excellent. The room and lobby were very clean, and the hotel's toiletries are high quality. However, the hotel did not have the type of room available we paid for in advance, and were absolutely unapolagetic. Breakfast was also horrible, and the hotel's restaurant fare is overpriced. "Noisiest room ever, plus ants"
When we checked in, we were asked if we had a problem with noise. We said that we would like a quiet room. The first room they gave us had ants crawling all over the bed. They apologized, gave us a $50 food and beverage credit and the room next door. Both rooms were just down the hall from the lounge. At 12:30 am the lounge was so noisy that, even from […] our room, we were not able to sleep. We could hear complete conversations as if we were in the lounge itself and many people were walking through the hall and shouting. "Dirty Hotel"
We actually didn't even stay the night. We checked in and the room was dirty and the garbage bins not even emptied, the furniture in really bad shape and it felt like a dirty highway motel. We had to check out and find another hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Failed to Honor Handicapped Request"
I requested a handicapped accessible room for an guest I was hosting; I confirmed it with two phone calls and a personal visit. "NO AC"
A/C didn't work and room was VERY HOT. The front desk provided a pitifully small fan but it was still a miserable night. Maintenance checked out the A/C in the room and told us it was blowing cold air. The entire hotel was warm and the entire A/C system wasn't working properly.
