We were suppose to have a non-smoking room. We opted for this hotel because all Anamosa had left were rooms that allowed smoking!! It stunk, was dirty--we did not take our shoes off!! Would not reccomend this to anyone!!! We were out of the room before 7:00, the smell was too awful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Spend Your Money Elsewhere"
My suggestion is spend an extra $25 and stay somewhere else. If you like a bed that feels like sleeping on a board, bedspreads that have visible stains, and carpeting that smells like musty ashtray, this is the place for you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Microtel Marion, Iowa"
The room was filthy - the walls were very unclean - carpet was nasty. To explain the walls - it appeared someone had opened something that sprayed out and coated the wall at one end of the room. Both of the beds were uncomfortable and did not appear clean - neither one of us laid beneath the sheets - chose to purchase a new blanket for each bed - folding […] them in half and sleeping as if in a sleeping bag. Both pillowcases on one of the beds were wrinkled - like they had not been changed. The elevator stunk and the carpet filthy.
