"Left something to be desired"
The hotel was in a good location, but the quality of the room was terrible. The floors had stains (bad ones) all over. There were pictures that had fallen off the wall and the mounting brackets were still there. Our sheets had HOLES in them and had cigarette burns. There was hair and crumbs on the blankets. took more than half an hour for the shutle to pick us up from airport...at midnight they could not have been that busy...at midnight after a long day I was more than ready to get to the hotel. "Comfort Inn Airport, St. Louis, Mo"
This hotel is in need of some repair. The people were friendly especially the desk clerk but overall not a good pick. I was passing through for business and needed a Hotel near the airport. That was all I received. The floors in my hotel were dirty and overall was not very clean. Forget getting a fast meal in the restaurant, it took them near an hour […] to whip up one hamburger and fries. The food was good but the charm and the service was very poor. Holel staff were nice, room nice( I think the 2 double beds were more like 3/4 size), the service in dinning area was (loss of the words to use) we ordered our meal, 1 hour later 2 of us ladies did get what we ordered the other 2 was not as lucky.. Was told the cook never came in they did give us a disccount of 10% and the other two ladies didn't have […] to pay for the meal they got. There were 2 other customers in dinning area and had went to the carry out place accross the street and was eating that in the dinning room. "Very Disappointed"
Location was great and front office people were very nice. My room, however, was another matter. The couch was stained and the coffee table was badly chipped. Even the Welcome to St. Louis book, was dated 2008. The coffee pot still had the grounds in it from the previous guest.. The worst thing however, was the bed. I had the very strong impression […] that the sheets on the bed had not been changed after the last guest. I could not prove that however. "The Comfort Inn & Convention Center St. Louis"
The pool was closed 2hrs after we arrived and the remainder of our stay (3nts)...so we were stuck in our room the first night which was too small for a family of four. The breakfast was not the greatest...and the WiFi sucked. We only had one bar the whole time which didn't allow us to stream...we picked up a better signal from the Travel Lodge down […] the street but it was secured. They vacum and clean at 9pm!!! This hotel was in need of renovations, carpets in the room were not clean. The refrigerator did not keep anything cold. "Location, Location, Location"
The pool had a weird green tint to it and my wife and I, as well as another couple we met there decided against letting our kids swim in it. I missed the driveway entrance so I went 15 yards down the street to turn around and was greeted by a gentleman who flashed his gun at me and gave me this "don't come in here" look. "staff was great, but the room was filthy"
Stayed for 3 day. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were great. Continental breakfast was ok, However the room was filthy. the carpet was so dirty a new pair of white bottomed house shoes were completely black. There were cob webs in all the ceiling corners. Blood on the end table and radio. Would have cancelled and went somewhere else if there […] was time. Was there for a conference so was mostly there for someplace to sleep. Because of the conference those on the shuttle line we used were full so just put up with the room. "You get what you pay for"
Upon check-in my children were disappointed to learn that the pool was closed for unexplained reasons. We went up to our room to find the entire carpet was damp and musty. Parking is horrible and staff was minimally helpful.
