I made a quick trip to the area for business and used the "Unpublished Rate" feature on the Expedia website. I knew the area the hotel was in, the... ammenities and the price but not the name of the hotel when I booked the reservation. I was very pleased with the hotel and have even used this feature again with satisfying results. The hotel more than met my needs, was quiet an the staff helpful. Situated in the heart of Bourbonnais, Comfort Inn is close to Hidden Cove, Northfield Square Mall, and Olivet Nazarene University. Additional area attractions include Kankakee Railroad Museum and Kankakee County Museum.

The hotel was great, the staff was wonderful, even helped me out of a printer jamb. I have only two major critiques and one minor one: They bill the breakfast as a buffet...don't be fooled. It is a continental breakfast with a toaster and some cereal. Also, there is a problem with snow removal...no one bothered to clear a path from the upper level parking […] lot down to the lower level one. It was a bit treacherous to navigate. The two smaller critiques have to do with the room: the pillows were not comfortable, but were adequate and the work desk in the room didn't have a light, so I took one off of another table and put it there so I could work. With all of that said, I have never stayed in a better hotel for the price I got on expedia. Read more
