"Nice Hotel"

"Hot and Cold ... was it me or the A/C?"
Hampton Inns are fairly generic and this one is typical. The rooms are nicely appointed and there's a fridge, a nice, large flat screen TV, a comfy chair and ottoman. The bed is always comfortable at Hampton's and this one was no different. However, the A/C did not have a room thermostat, just the old "off" or High or low Cool (or heat as needed). Since […] it blows directly on anyone sitting at the desk using a computer, it requires frequent adjustment. Elsewhere in the room, the temperature is better moderated, but still, it will require more than a few trips over to turn it down, off, on again ... etc. The breakfast was good (although only one two-slice toaster is not enough) with sausages, bagels, oatmeal, Danish, etc. The TV did not have MSNBC which I prefer to watch, but it did have FOX Noise ... but the front desk clerk was willing to go in the back and send the desired channel to my room, very nice effort and much appreciated. The hotel was great all in all but I will probably not stay at a Hampton Inn again. The room was very clean as was the bathroom but the double beds were way too small. I wanted to get a tape measure and check to see if they really were standard size. My husband and I found it difficult to share one bed and ended up each in our own beds.
