"Converted me to Springhill Suites"
Everything was GREAT except for a false fire alarm early in the morning that forced everyone to go outside in a drizzle. The staff though had coffee waiting for us. Nice pool and gym. I needed to arrive earlier than 4 for check-in, so I called up around 10am and requested and early check-in. The girl at the desk was wonderful, she put a hold on my room without question and was incredibly friendly. When I arrived at the hotel that afternoon, the woman I spoke to remembered me, and then again later that night when I came back from […] dinner! Well done! If I could have given beyond 5 stars for quality of staff, I would without hesitation. The room was clean and adorable! The style of the hotel was modern and fun, the colors made it feel clean and crisp instead of old and dull like many hotels. The linens were nice and the beds comfortable. This is a very comfortable hotel near lots of shopping and restaurants. We had a girlfriend get-away in Williamsburg, the warm pool and hot tub were an unexpected bonus. Got there for a few hours of rest. Made an online reservation at 10pm. Called 5 minutes after that and they had all my information ready. Told them about a late arrival and they had no complaints. When I arrived (around 1am) the staff was extremely friendly. Because it was Memorial Day weekend they left the pool open late and we used until almost 3am. […] Room (suite) was better than what I expected for the low price. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Liked that the room had 2 flat screen tvs so I was able to watch tv while my daugther watched cartoons. Also, the hotel is located near the amusement parks. Overall we had a great experience. We were welcomed after a long day at Busch Gardens with lemonade, lollipops, cookies and coffee/tea. Our room was really great with a whole separate kitchen area and two really comfortable queen beds. The breakfast was delicious!! The pool outside is shared with another Marriot next door, but the indoor pool was sufficient. "Excellent Value for the Money"
Excellent experience from checkin to checkout. Wonderful breakfast buffet with a great variety, wonderful room service, friendly staff, very quiet room (even with a group of 70 highschoolers that were there--we knew nothing of them until breakfast). Very good room and great price. Our girls loved the towel creations that were on our bed when we arrived. […] The bed was very comfortable and I loved the fact that they had actual drapes on the windows that could be drawn to keep out the morning light. The only "complaint" that I can even think of was the pillows on the bed, they were very small (not even standard sized). That is the only negative thing that I can say about the hotel.
