"Fine hotel if not crowded"
Overall sub par for Marriott. Had to request more towels when we arrive. Next day we only ahd 3 towel for 5 persons. When we retunred on 2nd day at 2:30 because our daughter was not feeling well , we found our room not cleaned. The Front office apologized and said the hotel was full and staff could not keep up. Well hire some more staff when the hotel […] is at capacity. Also the parking was limted and we literally parked int eh the last spot on two separate nitghts. "Certain staff had a major attitude!"
The hotel was in a great location but not the cleanest. While most of the staff were great, there was one staff member who worked at the Front Desk who was extremely rude to not just us but others as well. "Nice Rooms but Lobby needs a make over!"
I have to say the exterior of the hotel is very nice, then upon entering the lobby i was very disappointed. The curtain outside the pool was falling apart and quite distasteful. Also the table cloth on the coffee/tea table was very poor. Also, the breakfast at other Springhill Suites has been much better. Other than that, our room was wonderful and […] who ever cleaned it did the best job! excellent! Also, the location was perfect! I think a few dollars spent on new curtains, a new trash can outside the front entrance and a new table cloth for the Coffee/Tea table will make a HUGE difference to the hotels overall appearance. We stood in a King Bed Suite. It was smaller then any suite I have ever stayed in. I think it was the size of any hotel room. They just jamed everything in. It def. needs an up do. The rugs and furniture are ancient. The bed was pretty comfy. I was surprised to see one tv.. but I guess the room wasn't big enough for 2 tv's. "just a pitstop"
we stayed one night on our way to myrtle beach. The customer service was A+++ they were friendly , polite,helpful...The free breakfast wasn't as nice as other hotels but it was acceptable.My only problem was the pool area was run down and I heard another cpl complaining about a bug problem or something like that in their room and they were getting their […] room switched...so of course I went on bug patrol in our room.
