I picked this place because there was an indoor swimming pool and it could be used in cold weather. It was maintained well and reaching to Colonial Williamsburg was not hard. 10 minutes drive? Think of it as Wyndham jr. Yes, Days Inn is part of the Wyndham hotel now. While visiting Busch Gardens we lost our car key on a roller coaster, we live 3 1/2 hrs away and had only one night at the hotel and no one to bring us a spare key till around 2 pm the next day, when we went to try and pay to stay at the hotel instead of sitting outside waiting for 3 hrs after scheduled check out time of 11 a.m. we were told by Thomas […] the manager that he would NOT add insult to injury and for us to stay in the room till our key was delivered. Had a wonderful stay due to the attentive staff. They really want their guests to enjoy their stay, and it shows. The breakfast food was typical, but the experience was out of the ordinary due to the gentleman taking care of the buffet. My husband and I stayed at this hotel before. The breakfast set up was kind of confusing, it was much better this time we stayed, but the trash disposal areas should not be so close to the food. I saw ants crawling around the bagels. The 2 small refrigerators on top of the counter were not convienent either. The Hotel stay was great. Location was wonderful. 24hr. Convenient store right next door. Walmart literally around the corner. Wiliamsburg Pottery entrance across the street. 3 minutes from Righmond Highway (food and shopping). I would recommend to friends, I just wish the rooms had a micor/fridge, but other than that everything was great. They did […] run out fo breakfast one morning, but that was no fault of the hotel, they had a bus come in with a bunch of high school kids and they had a pizza party the night before and I heard they got into the breakfast foods. This Days Inn is very clean and comfortable. The side entry doors don't always work the best, but the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and it's located close to everything we need. I was real glad they had an indoor pool as I am on an exercise plan for therpy and the pool was open until 11:00 PM which allowed me to swim before bedtime and gave me a wonderful night's sleep.
