It was a very busy weekend, due to the number of people in town for the University of Colorado Boulder's graduation. The hotel was full. The lobby is very nice, the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is very good on the weekdays. The only negatives were the SLOW elevator in the mornings, and we weren't able to take the stairs because they didn't […] unlock the lobby stairwell. Also the brunch on Sunday (Mothers Day) was very expensive, and the regular breakfast buffet was very depleted and picked over. This was a terrific hotel. I'd rate it a 5 if the towels were not rough like sandpaper. Also odd was a wall mural next to the toilet featuring folks faces looking at you...what we all want right? Other than these two small things--- this place is top notch. We loved our stay.

When I come to visit the Denver area, I tend to try to stay in different areas and this is one area is one of the top for me. The hotel is nice, modern and upscale in which is must for me. There were a few BIG quality issues, for my check in the clerk did not explain the locations of the amenities and did not give me the meal tickets that I purchased […] beforehand. When examining my bedding for cleanliness and freshness, I discovered that my bedding was not fresh as a result I requested fresh bedding-my daughter's bedding was fine and also it was some slimmy gross stuff on the wall in which I just cleaned as I always do myself. So, I know the struggles of employing "quality & attention to detail " personalities, despite these issues, the style, culture and location of this hotel alone would entice me to return. Read more

The hotel itself was nice and and location was good, however the room was just not 4-star at all. It was not clean thoroughly and the bedding was white, but very worn around edges... looked dingy. No valet upon arrival and water pressure was very low. I usually stay 4-5 star and this was a 3-star at best!

We have stayed at this hotel probably over 30 times. It has recently undergone a renovation and while it is fresh & new I hope the interior designers were fired. What we liked about the decor previously was its warm, more rustic Colorado feel. Whoever did the renovation made the room interiors way to modern and frankly cheap looking. They used a bizarre […] corn and wheat motif on the wall decals that is so out of place for a Colorado hotel near the Flatirons. I know it is likely because the hotel was built on a former cornfield but vistors to the hotel would never know that. There is also this bizarre wood in the lobby that has some significance only to the decorator. We are extremely disappointed witht the remodel and will only stay here again if we find a cheap rate. The staff is great and the concierge, Dylan, who has been there forever while attending college is very helpful and professional. Read more

Amazing lobby and bar area with a large open pit fireplace had guests lingering and enjoying the warmth, the mountain views, the food and libations every time we walked past. Very welcoming environment and helpful staff!

Rooms are newly redone and very clean. Towels are excellent quality, wall coverings are pleasant (large black and white wall covering of wheat grasses), bed was comfortable, and there was a separate seating area with french doors to the bedroom. Overall, this is a very elegant hotel in just about every way. Great room, great service, beautifully decorated. The on-site restaurant, Flatz, was equally impressive. The single flaw in our stay had to be the strange elevator/staircase situation. There are only 2 small elevators for the entire complex...and the very industrial staircase on every floor […] leads outside, not to the loby or lower level where the pool & fitness rooms are. When we checked in I asked to use a luggage cart and they said the bellman would be out front to help. I began unloading our car and the bellman helped everyone that arrived, except for us. Other customers were allowed to used the luggage cart. I am 65 years old and would of really appreciated a luggage cart or bellman. It took 5 trips to the car for […] me to get my luggage in. We set it to 60 degrees before going to bed around 10:30 and woke up sweating at 2 a.m. in an 85 degree room.
