Did drop the charge when we fought it, and were very polite about it - 15.00 for a 3 yr old eating at a buffet seems ridiculous to me (think she had a piece of toast) but waiter seemed a bit jaded. "close to metro with free transfers to metro"
We jhad a great stay at the Crown Plaza. The hotel was clean beautiful close to the metro. Abraham at the front desk was so polite, everytime either my husband or myself went to the front desk for any reason Abraham knew our name immediately. I felt like a King in the castle! The location was perfect for me as I wanted to visit family staying near Dulles airport. A friend joined me but needed close access to the beltway. And you can't beat the location for access to shopping and dining. The place itself deserves to be known as a high class act at an affordable (at least the rate I got online) […] price. Everything you need is in the hotel except I didn't see any continental free breakfast but for me.. don't do those anyway. Happy with the complimentary coffee. The room I got was impeccably clean and comfortable and more than I expected for the price I got. One of the best places I have ever stayed in. I will be sure to stay there again next time I am up in the northern Va. area. This one is a diamond in the rough. I am not a classy guy type but sure felt like it staying at the Crowne! Thanks!! First time visiting this area. The hotel is located within driving distance of many area sites. It is within a few miles of the Metro train which can get you to almost any place you want to go. Enjoyed using the Metro during our stay. The area of Tysons Corner is nice, but for someone not familier with the area, it is difficult to get around, too much […] traffic and there are so many roads & highways that you can get lost very easily. I am giving this hotel the highest rating because of Kathy. We initially did not expect to have to pay additional for a roll-away bed, but because of the great rate we got through Hotels.com we accepted the additional charge. The issue was the room they put us in was not big enough for a roll-away. Fortunately, Kathy was working this day, and worked […] with us to get another room that was large enough for the roll-away. I felt Kathy personally cared about our issue and wanted to help to make our stay a pleasant one. I can't say the same for the others at the front desk.
