"A great stay!"

"No need to stay here"
Restaurant was either closed or offered food typical of a Hampton Inn. Room was cleaned at 7:30pm the first night. Hilton honors upgrade put us into a handicapped room. "Avoid Room 108"
This a standard Hilton Garden and meets the level of quality that you would expect at any of them. However, specifically avoid rooms around 107-110 as they are directly across from the ice machine and fitness/pool area, which means higher traffic, kids and the ice machine dumping ice. "Good for business travelers"
The location of the hotel is good and it's probably the newest hotel in the area. The staff was very friendly. They have a nice little restaurant and bar on the first floor. I had breakfast there one morning and it was good. The rooms are very spacious and they provide two TV's (one in the bedroom and one in the living room. There were some cleanliness […] issues. The pillows on the sofa were dirty, some of the towels had stains, the caulking around the tub wasn't very clean, etc. Also, the bed is like a rock - very uncomfortable. "Ames Hilton Garden Inn"
Hotel is very nice overall and fairly new. Only problem we had was that the bathrooms had a bad, mildew smell when we arrived. We complained and they had someone come up right away but it still smelled bad after the second cleaning. Nothing a little bleach wouldn't cure but oh well.
