"Breakfast Guard"
We were trying to eat breakfast as a family, and the attendant just hovered making us very uncomfortable eating. We wondered if he was afraid we'd steal the plastic forks! My daughter was "creeped out" by him, and we just wanted to get out of there. If you are going to have continental breakfast, have it and leave people alone. "Mini-Vacation Base of Operations"
Used this motel as base of visits to Ames, Des Moines, and Story. Comfortable and fairly new. Restaurants a little ways away, but good choices. Some noise from other vistors one night, but quiet for sleeping. Continental breakfast just so-so.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
