"not quite up to Hampton standards"
Normally... Hamptons are just perfect for us... but we were very surprised to see that this one needed just a little work. They were refurbishing a little, so that excused....we just felt that we were not as "welcomed" as at other Hamptons... Also... and this has nothing to do with the rating... this is the second Hampton that we have stayed at where […] the new floor is not being layed flush with the walls.... the hallway looked like it had a curve to it... gotta use those chalk lines, guys...:)....All in all,,, not too bad of a stay...bed not quite as comfy though...:(...oh... and kind of weird... but no fridge in the room... we thought that odd...would we stay again....? I was chosen to be customer of the day which meant a free upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi tub, so I was very pleased about that. The room was clean with the exception of a dirty ottoman, breakfast offered variety which was very nice compared to alot of hotels Ive stayed at. Convenient to I-81. We had a late arrival and the coffee bar had fresh decaf coffee. Nice touch.
