"Be Warned: Night Club at the Hotel"
I read the previous reviews before booking my trip and assumed that people were being too harsh. My friends and I booked this hotel because we were traveling on a tight budget and because it was in a decent location. After staying here, we would have been better off at a 1 star hotel. Upon arrival, we were somewhat disconcerted about the broken glass […] and yellowish curtains, but we checked in anyway and left for downtown. When we arrived back at the hotel around 11pm we were greeted by a full out night club complete with loud music and a shady bouncer guarding the door. We headed to our rooms and discovered multiple red stains on the floor. On the positives side, the hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. "Never Again"
The staff was very busy when I arrived and I had to wait for over 15 minutes to be serviced. I was unaware that this hotel had a bar that was open to thugs and possible illegal activity. I felt totally unsafe. It was very noisy you could hear the guests running up and down the hall all night. Outside of the hotel they had a motorcycle club gathering […] until 2am in front of the hotel. I was supposedly place in a non-smoking room but all night you could smell smoke from both of the rooms next door to me. One of the twin bed's were broken and the blanklet and other linen had smoke holes in them. The bathroom walls had mold at the top of the shower and on top of the mirror's in the bathroom. There was mold also in the room. The TV settings were set very dark and I couldnt adjust them, I called downstairs and the person said that it could not be changed.
