"Good price, convenient location"
The Phoenix Inn Suites offers large rooms (yes, suites) with comfortable bedding and nice amenities - fridge, coffee and tea fixings that are NOT in the bathroom, a nice couch and work space area, and a large bench-type structure on which one can put one's luggage (much better than those flimsy metallic things). AC was not noisy. Staff were friendly […] and helpful. The morning breakfast fare was the usual coffee (good), juices, waffles, eggs, cereals, bagels, etc - certainly fine if you're not looking for anything unique. I liked the fact that the breakfast room was large so that tables were not on top of each other and that the television was not blaring (it was on closed-caption - not sure if that's always the case). The staff of this hotel were incredibly accommodating for us. There is an indoor pool, jacuzzi and a gym. We were thrilled there was a laundry as our stay with long. I called before booking to make sure it was going to be working. the pool was good, but the hot tub was available only 1/2 of the time. We are working with them now to decide on whether to continue to use them. It certainly not worth risking our guests stay quality. I'm very glad you enjoyed everything for the most part though! I love Olympia and now I know where I'll stay every time I go! The people in the Phoenix Inn Suites are friendly and very helpful. They do serve an "ok" breakfast but there are several incredible restaurants nearby - literally! I was there during some sort of convention so the parking was scarce...but it's in a safe neighborhood and the walking is easy. […] We were there during Halloween so we took my grandson trick or treating along the main road in all the shops. Such nice people. This hotel is right on the waterfront...it was great. I would have given the cleanliness of room a 5 but the carpet was probably old and needed a good steaming. Otherwise, a comfortable bed, there's a refrigerator and microwave. Had a good stay, just for one night. It's a modern hotel, probably very used to the business traveller but we did well there on holiday. It's well situated, by a marina with good restaurants but just ten to fifteen minutes walk from the Capitol. Just returned from 2 nights at the Olympia Phoenix Inn Suites, and will absolutely stay again. Parking is free, convenient. Close to downtown, easy flat walking to area venues and restaurants. Great seafood place right across the street that also provides room service. The Phoenix Inn itself was the very clean. No sounds heard from our room. Nice broad […] hallways. Very comfortable beds and marvelous soft pillows. The shower head? Plenty high enough for my 5' 9" - and good water pressure.
