"so much for a non-smoking hotel"
I was looking for a place to stay after midnight while traveling. I am thankful this hotel would allow me to book and check-out in the morning when others wanted me to pay for 2 days. This was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. There was a sign on the front door and my room had a non-smoking sign next to the door. "Room needed maintenance & attention"

Our room smelled unclean! I hated to walk around without shoes on. The price was cheap and it allowed dogs. That was the only positive. The carpet needs to be cleaned and refreshed and then a scrubbing would help with the smell. This was not a good experience!Genuine Expedia guest review

"BAD AREA!!"
We arrived early and decided to get a suite for the night before our actual reservations, the suite was dirty and gross.. the bed was so bad I went out and bought my own sheets and blanket to change the bed so I could sleep..after we got into our room that we were going to stay in for 5 days which was smaller and had no microwave or fridge, which was […] a bummer, but we dealt. The area was scary expecially at night, we wanted to rent a pay per view movie one night but it wouldnt let us so we called the front desk only to bed told since we went through hotels.com we couldnt use the pay per view and then was hung up on.. I went to the office and politly resolved the issue by giving them a 20.00 deposit (cause it was 14.99, per movie!!!) Our room key didnt work after 2 days of our stay so I went to get it re-programmed and the lady behind the desk acted as if I was truely putting her out by having to re-program BOTH keys.. she didnt understand why one wasnt enough.. "Inexpensive, but look elsewhere"
The hotel isn't awful. In fact I was satisfied with my room. But the other couple we were with had a horrible experience. The toilet was broken in the first room they were in. They went down to the front desk and asked for another non-smoking king room. None were available, so they tried a smoking king room. The smell in the smoking room was so awful […] that they went back to the desk. They were moved to a non-smoking double. The next morning they found that their shower wasn't working. The Baymont found them a non-smoking king for the second night, but all in all it was an annoying experience. It suggests that the quality of one's stay is highly variable.
