"Nice hotel but terrible customer service!"
I was told the room I reserved through Hotels.com was not available. They tried to give me a different type of room. I reserved for 4 people and they won't fit in one bed. They finally "found" a room. Then the following morning I received a bill on my room floor. I went right to the desk to dispute it saying I already paid in full. After speaking to […] 3 people they said the charges were just pendng and would not show on my card. You had to leave a card for incidentals. Well, the charge is on my card and I have paid twice. I called the hotel and you have to speak with their accounting department which is never there. I left a message and I am waiting for them to call back. Also, the $13 charge for parking is a bit much for an overnight stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Trenton 1/2 marathon"
this was a nice place to stay, very comfortable and friendly. My only concern was there are not a lot of options near by for food and the restaurant did not open early enough for those of us heading out to run the 1/2 marathon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hallway has unpleasant odor. The bath tub was dirty and black.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel room was ok, but staff was unfriendly. I was very disappointed with the area around the hotel because there are no stores or anything around it! Also, you have to pay for parking!!!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
During the day the hotel location is fine. Parking at the facility at night is relatively secure, but even the parking garage attendant keeps the door closed until a car appears in the driveway. Parking fee (City of Trenton) in the hotel garage is expensive. ($13/day.) If you don't park in the garage, you are responsible for meter fees on the street. […] Rooms do not have refrigerator or microwaves. You are expected to use the hotel restaurant. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
When we booked the hotel it was a Marriott but all the signage was gone. A guy who looked as if he had slept in the street for a couple nights told us it was indeed the Marriott and then asked for money. We found out inside that the the hotel was looking for an owner. That made it feel like a hotel at the end of the world and that staff was just there […] by habit and not because they were employed. But that said, they were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and with a wedding going on, it was even bustling at times. The neighborhood is tough, maybe it's all of Trenton. Hotels.com might want to inform people when hotels are sold like that, so we don't have to hear it from the homeless guy. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"find another place"
The hotel itself was fine. But--it cost $13 per day for parking, something that was not disclosed upfront. Also, downtown Trenton is not a good destination. You will want to find another location outside of town or in Princeton if it is convenient.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very nice breakfast buffet including omelets made to order. Rooms comfortable maybe a little worn. Staff helpful. No problems.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"What Happened. !!!!"
I travel one or two time every year for the past 6 years, this year I don't know what happened. Bed & pillows were super hard and uncomfortable. Also would be nice to have a microwave and a small refrigerator. Other than that, no complaint, staff are super friendly and very helpful. See you in November again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Downtown location perfect."
Very nice hotel. Room was clean and roomy, friendly staff. Easy walk to government buildings, and to the Old Barracks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"middle of Trenton"
Great Hotel. Very comfortable and well appointed. We walked from the Jersey Transit Center through what is left of downtown Trenton. The sense of doom isn't the Hotel's fault. In a perfect world, the ability to walk through a pedestrian city center after arriving from NY would make this a no-brainer. I enjoyed a walking tour of the town nevertheles […] s. "Great Hotel for Anyone"
This place was beautiful, didn't expect it to be as nice. I'm a college student and I came here with a group a friends for a concert near by. The employees were really nice, and the rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable ! Defiantly deserves to be a 5 star hotel. Also, I did not eat there so I don't know the quality of their food.Genuine Expedia guest review
"If you have to stay in Trenton--this is the hotel"
Trenton is not exactly premier tourist destination, but if to have business in the area, Trenton Mariott is probably the best option out there. Hotel is a little dated, but safe and clean, with parking nearby.I took chances and parked on the street and it was fineGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel to stay in downtown Trenton"
Hotel room was very clean but a bit dated. The bed slept absolutely great. The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel and grounds were very clean and had a good smell.Genuine Expedia guest review
Everything was excellent from the room, parking, courtesy of the employees etc. Breakfast was great but only one minor issue the sausage was too salty. Overall everything were good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, friendly staff"
The hotel is in excellent location for business purposes. I believe it's one of the best in the area.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean, comfortable stopover."
Stayed at the Hotel as a stopover on the way to DC. Arrived late and staff was efficient and courteous. The room was quite warm but we were able to turn off the heat and open the window to cool it down. Room was very clean and comfortable. The next morning we went down to breakfast which was included in our rate and was pleasantly surprised with the […] quality of the choices and the buffet breakfast. I had a delicious omelet made to order. Overall, a very positive experience. Only drawback was the $13. cost for overnight parking in the adjacent garage. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel but charges for internet access."
The staff were terrific, friendly and helpful. Everyone - front desk, maids, maintenance, catering - stopped to greet us, give directions and assistance. The bed was very comfortable, clean new cotton sheets. The room was spacious and clean, and had a comfortable chair. My only complaint is that the hotel charges for internet in the rooms. This business […] model was obsolete a decade ago. The cheapest motel chains provide free internet, usually wireless. McDonalds gives free wireless to all customers. There is free internet in the lobby, but for confidential business data, this is simply not enough. Why does the hotel not charge for toilets, or warm water, or the ice machine? These are expected basic conveniences, and in 2013 we also expect ease of access to the internet. Again, this is very disappointing, and I blame corporate policy. "Comfortable & Utilitarian, Good Location & Staff"
The hotel is just fine but seeming to perhaps show its age, though that would not stop me from staying there again. Location is very good, staff were all extremely cordial and helpful, and condition of the property, while not super-wonderful, was comfortable and certainly fine as a place to stay. Room was clean and everything worked.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Friendly staff great hotel!"
Very pleasant. Room was clean and staff was extremely friendlyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed here to take the train to NYC from the New Jersey Transit Center. We were hoping to be able to walk from the hotel to the train station, but after arriving it didn't seem like the area of town that is best to walk in at 10pm at night. So instead we drove and paid additional parking. The hotel is ok, but there isn't anything really around it […] beside government buildings. We arrived around dinner time and couldn't find a decent place to eat and ended up eating at the hotel's restaurant. The restaurant was empty except one other couple, which made us a little nervous, but the food was decent. I ordered the house salad and was pleasantly surprised at the size and amount of vegetables. The room was clean and quiet. I gave it a 4/5 because nothing was bad, but nothing was exceptional either. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We were traveling with our grandchildren 6 year & 18 mth old so we were a little disapointed that there was no mirowave or refrigerator in our room. "Really amazing staff, very comfortable, affordable"
I had a wonderful experience during my stay here, especially my interaction with the staff, who were extra attentive to me and my requests. The hotel was beautiful and convenient. The rooms were super clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice to stay"
can't complain the cleanliness of the room. it was the best hotel with in trenton, NJ but there was little thing happened. there was a drunk student kept knockin on my door. it was scary though so i called the front desk to call security to escort him to his room. the rest was amazing to stay in my room. cool. cool..Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Front desk extremly friendly, quick check-in. Great price for a short gateaway!!I I would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was great! Parking is close by. Although I'd not a fan of Trenton itself, the hotel was good.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great hotel, clean, updated, well appointed. Front desk staff were great, restaurant staff were horrible. Four tables were full and we could not get the wait staffs attention for things like ordering, getting additional coffee and paying the bill. I would definitely stay there again and either get room service or eat elsewhere.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Near to Princeton"
Excellent Stay within hotel; no restaurants nearby; had to travel to find food. Otherwise, excellent service and accommodations.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Took me a minute"
The hotel wasn't on the corner as I expected, and I didn't see it from the corner (probably my mistake). I looped around a little to find it. A more prominent sign on the corner of 206 and Lancaster would have been useful to me. My stay was wonderful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great front-desk service"
I was arriving late at night with my sleeping two year old, without my wife, just me alone. I called ahead and the front desk set up a crib in the room for me. When I arrived, soaked from the rain and carrying a sleeping child and three bags, Jasmine at the front desk offered to park my car for me in the adjacent garage, and then returned my keys to […] me in my room, very quietly, with a note describing where she had parked the car. "Beware of the hidden costs"
We had booked two rooms at the same time and when we arrived they put us in rooms way down the hall from each other. The man at the desk made it sound like he was giving us rooms that were the gems of hotel. They looked like regular old hotel rooms to me. Also it cost $13 a piece to park your car in their garage. It's not like you had much of a choice. […] The people at the desk were not overly friendly at all. Breakfast in the morning was odd. There were no signs stating whether you had to pay for anything so after eating we were presented with a bill for $16 a piece for a meal that was nothing more than a continental breakfast. Over $60 for 4 people for breakfast is ridiculous. Even the drinks at the bar were extremely overpriced. If you're trying to make money, just up the price of the rooms and include breakfast and parking. Don't slap your guests with extra costs they weren't expecting. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Marriott Hotel at downtown Trenton, NJ"
The hotel was ok but this is the first time that I have to pay for a hotel and the parking lot to stay in their hotel. In total I paid $13/day, this is ridiculous! I never stay at this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel in a place you wouldn go for fun"
Your basic business Marriott. Lots of construction in town, and not much of a glamor location. A clean place to spend the night. Breakfast buffet was good and the location (close to an event we attended) was fine. Great value for the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent choice for Trenton's govt. center"
Excellent hotel all around. Wish they had free wi-fi in the rooms, but it is available in the lobby. Walking distance to all the major govt buildings.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Trenton Marriott Downtown - sleeper"
This hotel experience exceeded our expectations. The check in process was smooth and easy, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable as usual. The staff all around was courteous, pleasant and very well trained, helpful and all in all a pleasure to be around. We had breakfast there and the value for the money was terrific. Highly recommended.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel with Friendly, Accommodating Staff"
The hotel was comfortable and clean, and the service was excellent. I was a little concerned because at the last minute I had to travel with my 7 month old in addition to my 11 year old, and we would be checking in at night. I called the hotel as I was on the road to the hotel, they already had the portable crib set up and ready for the baby when we […] arrived. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accomodating. We ordered room service and it was brought to us hot and in a timely manner. The grilled chicken sandwich was good, and so were the french fries, but the childrens pizza was ok. Checking in and out was fast and friendly, as was entering and leaving the parking lot attached to the hotel. I didn't really like having to pay 13 dollars to park my car overnight, but it was convenient and safe. The surrounding neighborhood does not appear safe, and in the middle of the night I can hear people yelling and hanging out in the street, so I did feel better knowing my vehicle was parked inside the hotel. I did not observe anywhere to go and eat nearby, and would recommend eating in the hotel because it is a safe, friendly, environment with decent food and a nice atmosphere. Great service! But bar closes too early :(. This is the 10th time I have stayed at the Trenton Marriott. It is the only hotel in Trenton so I am glad it is a nice one. "Comfortable, inexpensive hotel in Trenton"
This Marriott is large, well-appointed, and its staff is very helpful. The only drawback is that it's in a kind of run-down neighborhood which is a $6 cab ride from the train station (don't walk it). Once there, however, you'll be glad you chose it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Although the staff was friendly and polite, the hotel accomdations were terrible. The maintanence was extremely poor. We turned on the coffee pot and the tv short circuited. "Marriott, Trenton, New Jersey"
We were in the area for a funeral which is sad, but my stay was comfortable, clean, and the hotel personnel were pleasant and helpful.
