Total fail. First I thought the internet was free. Nope I was sadly mistaken. I never agreed to pay for it and it never even asked this is why I thought it was free. "Close to beaches"
Very old beat up furniture. Needs better cleaning...however, beds were comfy and clean sheets. We were in a non smoking room, however we could still smell cigarettes. We did notice that the cleaning lady was cleaning with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth! The breakfast could be updated. No fruit was available on all 4 days we were there. No bagels […] either. The room was clean but showing its age. However, the price was very good for what it was. Staff was accommodating and cordial. Breakfast left a lot to be desired with very few choices. I stay here for location only. It's 2 minutes from my Girlfriend's parents house, so we stay here every time we visit them. The hotel itself is pretty dumpy, but you get what you pay for. The day manager was very friendly and engaged. We got a room in the farthest building away from the entrance. That's where most of the cars were parked, leading me to believe that was where the intranet customers stayed. Rooms badly in need of renovation. Carpets not clean. Well, it was a cheap hotel, so I didn't expect much. Service was friendly and professional. Cleanliness was ok. They did not swap out the towels and washclothes though - even though some had been used to mop up a spill and were sitting as a wet heap on the counter. Also, the linens were more like rags. Spent the entire week at Disney and this hotel was better than the resort we stayed at in Kissemmee. Very clean and cofortable,the best sleep i had that week. Right across the street from the beach in a great area with all the amenities you could ask for. "Who cleans?"
The staff was not friendly and the room was dirty...They need a new cleaning crew. "Days Inn Satellite Beach, FL"
This was the worst place we've EVER stayed in. When we first opened the door a terrible smell just hit us in the face so we left the door open to get some fresh air in. It appeared the carpet wasn't vacuumed as there was potato chips on the floor in several places. I noticed that there was HAIR ON THE SHEETS they were never changed from the last guest. […] The towels were thin and like sandpaper. I called the front desk and they sent someone in to change the sheets. Totally disgusted and grossed out at this point we tried to find another hotel but it was Easter weekend and there were no rooms to be found anywhere. We were forced to stay in this dump. The general manager offered us 15% off our next stay. I told him we would NEVER come back to the Days Inn on A1A in Satellite Beach, FL. It doesn't even rate a #1 on your survey!!!
