I read comments before I booked this room. Their reviews were correct. This is a no frills motel for sure. If you want a cheap place to stay for a night, this would be your motel. Overall, the room had an odor, very cheap furnishings, and just an okay bed.

Given this is one of the cheapest places in the area my expectations were low. It is actually a quick drive to downtown but the neighborhood is an older commercial strip. This is literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. When I arrived they told me I was "lucky" because I got to stay in the new wing that they had just built with what she assured me to be a new mattress. Cleaning service never came in the 2 days I was there and it was impossible to get new towels. They only left shampoo packets which are hardly enough […] for anyone with long hair to wash with. The last day of our stay we received a call that woke us up at 11am, yelling "CHECK OUT TIME" into our ears. No good morning or anything. We asked for extended check out and they gave us until noon. That didn't stop the harassment though. They called every 10-20 minutes to make sure we were leaving. It slowed us down so much we eventually unplugged the phone. Then starting at 12 they started knocking on the door every 15 minutes. We had taken showers and were packing our stuff. I told them that we would be out soon. Eventually I'm bringing my stuff out to the car and he shows up again, this time with his small child (the enforcer?). He said you have to leave, I pointed to the bed and said I'm totally packed up, I'm just taking the stuff to my car now. He just stood in my way saying I had to leave and this was completely ridiculous for me to still be here. We told him if he didn't harass us we could have been out much earlier but with the constant calls it was out of control. He claimed no harassment and acted that he had given me the world when he said noon. I lost it and told him to take his kid and get out of here, I just have to put my stuff into the car. He left and then 2 minutes later was again knocking on the door to see if anyone was in there but we were already in the car. So we drove over to my friends room who was staying IN THE SAME HOTEL. I asked him, if he had been harassed at all and he said no. He even tried to call for a late checkout and they never picked up. I will never stay here again. My daughter and I went to view MECA and stayed overnight at the Knight's Inn, which we booked on line. When we got there, the first thing I noticed was the smell of cooking and not something that I would want. . .Then they couldn't find my reservation at first. Then they asked if I wanted a single king or a double queen, which I said didn't matter so […] they gave us a single. . .My daughter, who booked the reservation, said that she requested a double. . .Upon entering the room, the first thing I noticed is that although clean, it smelled, so much so that I had to air out the room first and then sprayed body perfume/mist, which helped immensely. I then went to get ice but the machine was broken. They did have a refrigerator in the room but it was unplugged. To plug it in, we had to stretch the cord across the bathroom doorway to where the plug was. Because there was a small ice tray in there, I was able to have ice for the a.m. Upon going to bed, I found that it was very comfortable and that the TV had a good selection of stations. The next morning, we found that the shower was hot and the water pressure good. Upon checking out, the "continental breakfast" consisted of coffee and Dunkin donuts. My daughter had a coffee, there were no cups left for mine, which worked out fine, because she said it wasn't strong, the way I like it anyway. I got there thinking breakfast was complimentary-it was although all i got was donuts and coffee-my children just got the donuts of course. You need to ask the manager/owner for a plate.
