The good points. The room was clean. The staff was professional and helpful. The location was handy to buslines and the maine mall across the street. The not so good were..first morning waking up. no power. cold room. power was back about an hour after. no bath towels. That night. People above me partying , slamming things, stomping on floor above until […] 3 am. I realized a lot of people here are 'weeklies' when I say weekly rate posted on door. I felt too afraid to call management as I am woman traveling alone. Its a good thing I didnt call because the next morning I realized the room phones were not working! Maids were loud and noisy from 10 til 2 pm ..the good thing though is that my do not disturb sign was respected and no one knocked on my door or worse came barging in. Nothing really wrong with the hotel, you get what you pay for... and we didn't pay much. The one issue with our room was the smell. I realize they have a no smoking policy in place, but it can't be too strictly enforced. The stale cigarette smell was nauseating and hard to overcome.

Great hotel if you are flying to/from Portland Jetport. They gave us a ride to the airport. The room was big, nice and clean. We had two queen size beds. They were really comfortable.

I didn't spend a great deal of time in my room but it suited my needs and found it quite comfortable and clean. The continetal breakfast worked well with my tight schedule and was adequate. The only thing lacking, from my perspective, was some fresh fruit (e.g., bananas or apples).

I was relieved to see our room after all the bad reviews. No cigarette smell, nice and clean, was able to relax and enjoy the surrounding shopping and restaurants. Definitely will stay here again!

I got what I paid for. The room was clean and in good shape. The bathroom layout was poor with the vanity outside the bathroom itself [and in the main room] so when I got up early to shave or jog, I would wake my wife by turning the lights on. The bathroom was barely large enough for the tub and the water closet, plus the door stuck. I would often bang […] my head on the shower rod. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good and convenient. The exterior is run down [a mustard and ketchup color combination] and in desperate need of a coat of paint. To check in, I drove around the building once trying to find the entrance! The form of the building indeed looks like the sparkling white internet picture but you can correct anything with Photoshop. I would certainly suggest this place for an inexpensive, one night stayover but for several days I would go elsewhere. Read more

Room didn't smell that great when we got there, almost had a bit of a cat smell to it. No pool, my daughter was disappointed. Coffee was not ready when I went down for breakfast. I had to stand up for half my breakfast as there were no more chairs. One of the ice machines was broken down. 1st room checked into smelt of cigarettes, asked to move and the 2nd room still smelt of cigarettes but not as much. Noticed a family of 4 changing rooms at the same time for the same reason. Would not recommend this hotel - will be following up with Expedia. Is not a 2*, more a 1*.

Slept well- quiet area and comfy bed. I had an early morning flight, so it was really easy to stay here since it's so close to the airport. They have a shuttle bus and you can leave your car there if you're flying out of town on a trip.

We were attending a conference near home and chose to stay in a hotel rather than have to drive 2 hours early in the morning. WE SHOULD HAVE SAVED OUR MONEY AND STAYED AT HOME! The first room they checked us into had candy on the floor and other things to indicate it was not clean. The place is great for economy for sure. The room was spotless. No alarm clocks so it was an issue to wake up and go to a light to see my watch. Dont rely on wake up calls anywhere. This is the 3rd time we stayed there and with 3 different desk clerks....not overly friendly. That kind of bums me. Great location. This was my 2nd stay here. The hotel was clean and very nice for the price. My only complaint with the room was the fan in the bathroom was very noisy. I think they were short handed as the front desk person seemed to be doing everything herself and was very abrupt yet polite. Will definitely stay here again.

This is a great stop-over hotel. I have stayed there several times and the room is always clean and the service is great. Grab a coffee and bagel in the morning from the free breakfast and hit the road. Good return for money spent.

Good value for a quick overnight stay with easy access from the highway and gool location near shopping and restaurants. Relatively new but showing wear and not as clean as I would expect. Limited continental breakfast. For a few more dollars, probably could do better.

We stayed in this hotel 3 times in the past two months. Each time the room was spotless. Sadly, each stay the tv remote was not properly functioning and I relate that to other renters, not the hotel. One time the sink drain was not able to drain quickly but no big deal. The shower had ample hot water. It is a good stay for the price. The only thing pleasant about the hotel was the staff (the cleaning staff). The hotel was very shabby and a very unpleasant experience. There were stains on the carpets, the toilet was not secured to the floor and rocked, the flushing mechanism was broke and and would continue to run, the sink was broke and would leak, the shelving to hang close case […] off the wall and unusable. the air conditioning was broke and therefore would come on randomly (either freezing you out or making you sweat), the microwave was broke and couldn't be used for fear of setting the room on fire, the drawers had a foul noxious odor (somewhere between horrible body odor and roadkill), the rolling chair had nasty stains all over it, the door to the room was all rusted out and pulled away like someone had previously tried to break in. And finally, there was poor drainage in the bath tub. All in all it was a very unpleasant experience. Read more

Room was ok, but the heating system was very noisy. It was hard to sleep through the recurrent loud fan turning on at regular intervals. Plus, this hotel allows pets which is good if you have a dog or two, but not so good if you are looking for an undisturbed night's sleep - or have allergies I imagine. This motel is terrible. You enter from the outside. It was -10 and there was no heat on in the room when we arrived. The heat, once we turned it on, would not go off. The bathroom floor had actual dirt all over it. The grout around the bathroom sink was coming off in chunks. We were pleasantly surprised that in this price range the room had micro, fridge, coffee pot, bowed shower curtain and plenty of pillows. The location is super and within walking distance of plenty of restaurantrs and a mall and also close to the highway. Our only issue was the softness of the mattresses.
