I just needed a place to stay after an all day event so my time was limited. Staff was nice, breakfast was a step up from the free buffet you normally get but just a small step up. My family stays at the Merry Manor every year on our way to our summer house in DownEast Maine. We love the saltwater pool and hot tub they have there. Staff was friendly when I checked in. When my card didn't work for my room, they were quick to fix the problem. The only bad thing is, when they fixed that problem, they forgot to input the number of days I was staying, so the following day when I left and came back, I had to go to the desk again to get the card registered again. Staff eventually took care of the problem when one of the other guests had mentioned this to them. Room was okay. It was clean and mostly updated. Free wi-fi is always a plus when I travel. Fitness room had one treadmill, one elliptical, one bike machine, and a workout station. Workout station had one of the stations not working. "Uphill in the Bed"
The one issue we had was the bed my cousin slept in. It had a tempurpedic-type mattress, and unfortunately it had a "gulley" on one side. The sides were too steep for her to roll out of it, and if she put her legs at an angle to get part of her body out of the gully, her legs were uphill from the rest of her body.
