The hotel pool and gym were both under renovations during our stay, however there was no forewarning on their website. The hotel was also supposed to have wireless internet, however it did not reach our room. Finally, the mini-fridge in our room was broken and it took 2 phone calls to have it changed. Well upon entering the room the room smelled of "garbage". It was so bad that we went to Target to purchase some perfume to spray in the room. That made it better then we went to dinner, upon coming back the room resumed back to the original bad smell. So we sprayed again, it was better then we woke in the am. The smell was gone, but really we just […] got accustomed to it, cause upon leaving and returning a couple hours later the smell was back. "Close to airport"
We chose this location because of proximity to the airport. Also, because of an onsite restaurant and lounge, which they did not have. "So Cold Couldn't enjoy our stay."
We arrived at about 6pm. When we got off the elevator on the top floor (6th), the hall way was VERY cold. When we unlocked our room, the heat had not been turned on. We had to leave our winter coats on for 1 1/2 hours. With the hopes to warm the room we had turned the radiator fan on high. Dust kitties were landing on the white bed linens. Breakfast was included which is nice and it was adequate but not great. The pool appeared very nice and clean but there may have been too much cblrine as my daughter's eyes were badly burned and all of my girls had damage done to their hair! "OK but for one serious flaw"
This hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the separate sitting areas in each room are convenient when two people do not go to sleep at the same time. The beds, however, are hard, lumpy and seriously uncomfortable for sleep (based on sleeping in two separate rooms on different dates).
