I was looking for a place to sleep and that was pretty much what this was. Heat wasn't even turned on. Towels were filthy. Wallpaper above shower was peeling and moldy. Not good distance to rooms for disabled. At least 100 ft to any room. Do not allow pets, this was a previous owners policy. Though, thanks to staff, we were allowed to have our dog stay.

The room was overall ok. There was a used wash cloth behind the dresser. Wire hangers from a previous guest in the closet, mold on the shower curtain and you could see the build up of soap scum in the shower. The beds were to firm for my liking but thats a personal preference.

We arrived very late, almost midnight; There is no food there, not even a soda machine; We had to travel to a near by 7-11 ; I have a person that needs at least a pudding to take bedtime meds. so this was an additional pain in the neck. Location and personel were very good to excellent but the motel was marginal at best. First room was wrong, key wouldnt work. after that we moved to another room - outlets on the walls were burned with pieces of plugs still hanging out! Refrig didnt work, had to have the AC/Heat turned on by reception (after messing with it for 30 mins), no fitted sheets […] and standard size pillow cases on king size pillows. Also something (ketchup or peanut butter I hope?) on the wall - and this was our second room! The pool as closed and had been all summer and the wireless internet did not work. This was not up to par for Super 8s. The internet was broken, two light bulbs in my room were burned out or I couldn't plug in the lamps, there was an antiseptic smell in the halls. It was clean, however.

for the price it was decent. the smell of the cleaning chemicals was so bad in my nose that i had a hard time breathing. It was clean but the fumes were bad. The front desk clerk was very nice and extremely helpful in helping us navigate the city.

The location is very good but the rooms themselves are lacking. The lights beside the bed were not plugged in and the bulbs over the sink needed to be played with to work. We checked in on August 13 around 4pm, the desk staff was friendly but the computor wasn't very quick. Once we recieved our room key we opened the door and found the room hadn't been cleaned after the last people had stayed there, beds were unmade, bathroom in disarray, just plan dirty! The next morning I spoke to the supervisor who said she had to work till 3am cleaning rooms because she had fired her night staff. The information states that it is a non-smoking motel - it is not. The first 3 rooms we inspected smelled of cigarettes, burn holes in carpet and bedding and extremely small. The "renovated room" was large with a king size bed and was a non-smoking room. However, the quality of the renovation was not up to standard: broken lamp shade; stain on ceiling […] over the bathroom sink area; hand marks on the ceiling over bed; dusty and dirty curtains; mildew in chaulking around tub; unfinished painting around windows, doors and baseboards. If they would have spent another $100.00 in materials, thoroughly cleaned and painted the entire room, then the ratings would have been much higher. Read more
