The hotel is conveniently located near many different restaurants and businesses. It is easy to get to the highways but the hotel does not sit on the... highway so there are no traffic sound issues. The room was very clean but there was a lingering smell of solvent which may disturb some people. The digital thermostat was a nice touch. The small room (lowest rate) was laid out well considering the square footage. The view from our side was of the large parking lot, so that left something to be desired. Front Desk staff are available and attentive. Avoid the restaurant when there is a special event (such as Mother's Day) as it will fill up and require waiting for breakfast even if you are a paying hotel guest. by a Hotels.com guest on 05/15/13

The room and bathroom were very clean, the staff was friendly, and the pool and hot tub were great. The only thing I disliked was the very, very firm bed, but that is just personal preference. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The grounds are beautifully maintained as well as the lobby. However, we stayed in a pet friendly room that had an odor and stains on the carpet. The staff were very friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool area and the cookies placed near the elevator.

If you're heading away for the weekend, and you're looking for a place to stay near Portland - this is a lovely spot as long as you don't mind a 5 to 10 minutes drive into the city and about $5.00 to park. The hotel itself is cleanly, the staff cordial, and the amenities plenty for a weekend get away. Short drive from the airport. We were just there overnight on our way to northwest Maine. Because our flight got in late, there was no one to greet us and check us in when we arrived. The room was nice and comfortable, but there was no mini bar. The hotel restaurant was closed and there was no place nearby to get a bite to eat. (Due to the short time […] between our flights, we had not had an opportunity to grab a bite at our connecting airport and were starving by the time we arrived in Portland). Portland apparently closes down at 1:00 a.m., so by the time we were checked in at @ 12:30 a.m., it was too late to try to go into town. The hotel had a limited selection of snacks and soft drinks, but all the way downstairs in the lobby. There were no vending machines on the room floors, which was very inconvenient, particularly, as the desk clerk was only at the desk if he had to be. Thus, even to get a snack, we had to wait around for him. Otherwise, I think the hotel would have been fine. Read more
