"No sound proofing? Will never stay here again"
Woke up from sound sleep when idiots in next room arrived at 12:30 am. Connecting door has no insulation. Screaming kids. Loud tv. It was so bad I could hear sound of fast food paper bags. "Don't waste your Money"
This was the worst run hotel I have stayed in many many years. We checked in on Wed. and this 8 floor hotel which was totally booked, only had 1 operational elevator. On the following Monday it was finally working, but after most everyone had already checked out. I asked for extra hangers, there were 6 in the room and am still waiting, the bedskirt […] was torn when we got there, and of course I tripped on it a few times getting out of bed, and when we checked out it was torn worse they kept tucking it in. One day they forgot to leave soap, one day cups and coffee, one day towels, and of course the trash was usually not emptied. But they took the tips. "Disappointing visit"
Friday night was good although there was some reconstruction in fitness area. St Pat's night was HORRIBLE! Tons of scantily clad parties drinking copious amounts of beer prevented us from finding parking at the hotel or within 4 blocks. After the local police assisted with movement of crowds from the entrances we moved our car about an hour later as […] hotel staff recommended parking in the lot. "Horrible Hotel"
Check in staff was awful except for Delilah. Rude, unhelpful. I didn't have my priority club # and they told me I would have to call and get it. They wouldn't do it for me. Room was hot and air conditioner worked only off and on. Ended up having to move to another room at 11 pm. Had to park in a parking garage and had a jacket and gloves stolen off […] our Harley. "Amenities not as promised"
We booked this hotel for two nights and were really looking forward to using the hot tub. Unfortunately, the pool was warmer than the hot tub and there were hardly any bubbles (many of the jets did not work). The TV would not turn on and there were no instructions. There was a loud band playing outside that lasted until midnight The coffee maker in the room did not work. I was never able to get any hot water from the faucet in the bathroom sink. The hot water in the shower turned cold after less than 2 minutes and I had to finish with a cold shower. "Worst Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at"
At check in, our air conditioning wasnt functioning properly. We called the front desk and the lady was very rude and just said, "sorry about that". 2 of our towels were dirty, we asked for new ones and that took 2 hours. Needed more conditioner, after 2 hours, I searched for a maids cart myself. Air conditioning in the restaurant was broken too, way […] to hot to sit and enjoy a meal or a drink. The ice machine didnt work on my floor had to use the one on the floor below, then that one broke. Elevator stopped working half way into our stay. When asked to speak to a manager regarding all of these, we were told that there was not a manager on duty on the weekends, and nobody who could hear our concerns. Was told to call monday afternoon. Hospitality manager didnt answer her phone so I left a voicemail. Still haven't heard back from her and its been almost a week.
