"Good Place to Stay"
In York for a day for personal business. Hotel is quiet, rooms clean, has a great on-site pub with a large patio dining area and bar. Food was pretty good, breakfast buffet (not free) with lots of choices. Would definitely stay here again. Quiet area, great rate for a 3 star hotel, not too far from Hershey, rooms are spacious, which is great for young kids. I brought my two year old and he had plenty of room to roam around. I came to town by myself to visit the Harley Davidson Factory. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable. Room overlooked the golf course and had a microwave, coffee pot and fridge. There was a great little pub downstairs with good food and pub games and I got a chance to chat with all the locals. Nice folks who gave lots of pointers on […] the local points of interest. The beds were comfy with nice down comforters. My only complaints were the loud a/c that woke me every time it went on and the thin walls. I was awakened by my neighbor talking on the phone at 6 a.m.! Overall, a very pleasant stay and very helpful front desk staff. Nice neighborhood a few miles from everything. We went to this resort to attend a wedding. Everything was fabulous. The wedding was held outside and it was absolutely beautiful! The reception was in a circular room that could be opened up completely to allow fresh air in. Again the view was fabulous as was the service. "EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS"
My "standard" room was larger than other hotels in this room category. The room was well furnished with a good layout... lots of countertop (granite) built-in wall furniture, which is helpful because most hotels have just the desk a dresser top. The entire hotel/resort is very pleasing, offering two restauants (one more formal and one more casual) - […] and the food options were perfect as well as the quality. Hotel and restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I will return here for a long weekend (pron in the fall) to take advantage of their outdoor restaurant seating near the outside fireplace, not to mention the onsite spa services... making for a very relaxing (reasonable) retreat. The restaurants were great, except that there was no elevator down to them and all the stairs were hard for older guests. At midnight we were awakened by the microwave beeping.
