We came to Lavender Inn as a group so had a few rooms. We were advised that as one of the rooms would be taken by two adults, my sister and my aunt,... there was only one suitable. My poor sister was put on a sofa bed that did not accommodate an adult. When she complained the next day the gentleman checking her out laughed and said she was quite right that bed is only for children and should not be given to adults. For 250 a night and a twin room request I expect a little more courtesy. The other rooms were nice but we preferred Maison Fleurie up the road. Breakfast was excellent but not child friendly (we had young children). Maison Fleurie did a lovely job of balancing our needs and making us feel welcome whilst balancing needs (peace and quiet!) for other guests. Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 29, 2013
