This hotel is really more like a 3 or 4 star hotel. It is newly remodeled and staff was friendly and very helpful. The only downside of this hotel is... that is about 11 miles from Bourbon Street and the cabs do not want to pick you up or drop you off in that location. I went during Mardi Gras so this might only happen during this time. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit New Orleans. Overall the 4 night stay was great. I suspect that they are short on some staff for busy weekends. On Saturday, the room did not get cleaned. The beds were made but no cleaning was done and the in room coffee and soap was not replenished. The hotel is newly remodeled and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
