arrived on the 29, the day of the 30 my room was not clean up at all. the front desk lady changed me to another room. next day the staff did put corrcet towells and they did not set up the cofee maker. it was a mess.Genuine Expedia guest review
"HAIR ON THE BATH FLOOR - YUK"
IT TOOK OVER 30 MINUTES TO CHECK IN - THERE WAS A LADY AT THE FRONT WHO KEPT ACTING GOOFY AND SAYING - "I DON'T WORK UP HERE - I'M IN SALES" - BET SHE DOSENT SELL MUCH. - THEN THE SMELL FROM "UPGRADING" WAS TERRIBLE FOR ANYONE WITH ALLERGIES. "I want my sheets changed!!!!!"
I was a little skeptical about staying at the Holiday Day Inn because the ones I stayed at in the past were not up to my standards. However, I was pleasantly surprised about the friendly staff (front desk and housekeepers) and the cleanliness of my room and the entire hotel. The only thing I did not like was that the housekeepers do not clean up your […] room. All they did was empty the trash and put towels on the floor outside the door. After driving more then 20 hours from Ontario to have a family vaccation in New Orleans, we arrive at our hotel to have them give us the wrong room and do nothing about it. We booked with a 3rd party, so they were very quick to blame them and not deal with it. We booked a executive suite and we got a standrad room. We booked a bigger room because we […] have a 3 year old who needs room to run around and play as well as space with a table to eat his meals. We spent half the day after driving this far on the phone dealing with this. In the end nothing was done we had to spend 6 nights in a closet. The front staff was rude and kept saying it wasn't their fault and didn't do anything. The manger was very quick to pass the balme. The 6 days we were there everytime we were passing in and out of the lobby there was someone there dealing with a problem. One guy had booked 3 rooms and only 2 were free that day and had to wiat until the next day for his other room, the other one was a group of people who booked a couple rooms and again had problems checking in. I also had problems with housekeeping 2 time they cleaned the rooma nd left our hotel room door open. I called the front desk and they said they would let them know and agian nothing was done.
