I had notice this hotel at time of recent stay in New Orleans. The room was charming (2 double beds) with old brick interior walls. Shower water pressure was the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The breakfast area was very well-stocked - boiled eggs, bagels, toasts, danishes, oatmeal, pancakes, cereal, cheese sticks, multiple tea varieties, […] juice, great coffee and very pleasant women who keep this stocked and clean during the morning. "close to the must sees"
Great location. Room was a bit small, only 1 chair. But ok because you are not in the room that much. No traffic noise whatsoever. Our 2nd stay and would definitely be back. $28.00 valet parking is still a bargain compared to what we saw when walking around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

A five minute walk gets you to the French Quarter as well as to downtown and the museums. The staff is friendly and represent the best of the city. "Maintenance barges into rooms! Beware!"

"Priced well for the location"
This hotel was in a great location and was at a convenient walking distance to many of the must-see sights, casino and restaurants. I thought it was well priced for the prime location. The staff was very helpful and nice. The only cons were the room was a bit small and the mirror in the bathroom was too large and covered the only outlet for that room. My stay was good, close to the French Quarters. A bit pricey for a room at Best Western not being in the quarters. Lots to like about this hotel: cleanliness, location, etc. That said, a suggestion: the hotel should make possible late check out, especially if it is not full. Came to run marathon. "First Come, First Serve"
We attempted to check in early (1030 hours) and was told to return at 1500 hours when the rooms would be clean and ready. We returned at 1505 hours and was notified the rooms were not ready as yet. We sat in the lobby area to wait for the first clean room. Three other guest arrived AFTER us only to be told as we were, the rooms were not ready. My family very much enjoyed our stay at the BW. The continental breakfast was fantastic! The location of this hotel was just outside the French Quarter, which was very easy to walk to and enjoy. Our family was comfortable staying there, especially being able to keep our daughter's dog with us. Staff was friendly. Location is good. We ended up having a great stay here, but had to upgrade our room for an extra charge. Beware of the rooms marked "Interior" as they have no window. It was a cute room if you do not mind having a window. It didn't work for us though. Once we got a room with a window it was very nice and had a charming feel. We were kept up all night by the room next door and called the desk three times each night. The sink in one room was stopped up and the tub in the other room was and it was dirty.
