Overall the hotel was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable, just a little underwhelming even though I had a deluxe room. We found the decor in... the room boring. The room did have a nice view, which is uncommon in New Orleans. The staff were exceptional! Always pleasant and helpful - from valet to bellmen, front desk, wait staff and bartenders. The bar was nice, never over crowded but never empty; they made a good drink and never seemed inconvenienced by any of our requests. We had dinner there the first night and it was delicious! Breakfast at the Cafe was good, but we were confused by the decor - too many different themes and they decorated with balloons...like a child's birthday party...but when we asked we were told that was just the decor no special event. The valet and bellmen were very nice; always making conversation, quick with a smile or joke. I never touched a door, hailed a cab or lifted a piece of luggage. The 285 guestrooms and suites display mixed-wood furnishings and reflect subtle use of crisp-white, chocolate-brown and navy-blue hues. Service at the reception and bag boys was good. We had breakfast at the restaurant and both the server and the maitre (seating lady) were slow, impolite and rude. Not a good experience. Food was at best average. Quite a disappointing experience for a Sunday breakfast (2 couples).

I had booked a King deluxe room and when I got to the hotel I was given a room w/2 double beds. Not that big of a deal for most but at 6'5" it was a slight inconvenience. The hotel would not let me switch room. Besides that it was very clean and in a great location

I enjoyed my stay at Loews Hotel. the only problem I had was having luke warm coffee at the Cafe but the staff replaced it at my request. Coffee should always be served piping hot. stayed 3 nights. loved the bar and bartenders. Did not enjoy the Friday AM brunch. Very ordinary. Probably would stay again if the price is the same as other hotels. But might not eat there. Live entertainment in lounge , very good. Rooms were nice,but no nicer than the Omni Crescent , where we usually stay. Nicer pool at Loews.

Loews NOLA is a wonderful hotel. it is new and modern with all the perfect amenities. the rooms are quite large and comfortable. even though the location is about 2 long blocks from the french quarter but it is definitely worth it to be in a quiet and clean neighborhood.

we stayed at the Loews for the Sugar Bowl and we had a wonderful experience. the food for both the restaurant and room service was great, the hotel was pretty quiet and so perfectly located. a very short walk to the quarter, Harras, and Riverwalk mall. we go to NOLA often and we will ONLY be staying at the Loews from now on.

When I got up to my room, the radio was on with very relaxing comforting music. The room was large with a couch, two chairs and a desk to one side of the room. The bathroom was large and very nice. That evening when I retired to bed, it felt like I had melted into comfort. Very relaxing and accomidating.

Big room and comfortable beds. Very busy hotel but the staff was always courtious and quick to respond. Nice fitness center and spa on site.

Very friendly staff. Very helpful in giving us suggestions and directions to sights and restaurants nearby. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Great views of downtown or the river. Very cool bar downstairs near entrance where they have live music that is very fitting for the setting. Close to the Riverwalk and the French Quarter...within walking distance. […] The only thing that was not good was the parking fee of $29.00 per night plus taxes. We didn't see anyplace around that was cheaper, so we chose to park with the hotel. Great hotel!! There was an unexpected incidentals fee added at check-in ($75). There was also a dirty martini glass with lipstick around the rim in the closet when we entered the room. However, when we told the management about that it was quickly taken care of. Overall, the room was great. It was quite roomy with a great view and in good condition.
