Located in the business district of New Orleans, this boutique hotel is on the St. Charles Ave Streetcar Line and 1 block from the French Quarter. "Overpriced!!!!"
The location is awesome and the lobby is beautiful but the rooms are the size of a matchbox!!! We paid over $200 a night and could barely stand on the sides of the bed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just okay"
The hotel was clean and check in was easy. However there was a MANDATORY charge of $9.95 for long distance calls,the tv only goes up to channel 34, the view in the room was horrible(burnt buildings)on the 6th floor and there is no room service! Quick check in. Self parking is 2 blocks away (at the Hilton garden hotel for 16/day until 3-4 pm the next day depending on who you ask). Everything of interest is within walking distance. Room is a little on the smaller side but overall comfortable. Would stay again and would recommend. Did not utilize too many hotel services but the front desk people […] were very nice. We had a speedy check-in and was given a complimentary upgrade for "Congratulations on the wedding"! The staff was great, very friendly, and willing to help with anything we needed. Very pleasant staff, great accomodation with modern furnishings, extremely comfortable bed and very clean room. We had room with sitting area separate from the bedroom and it was very quiet. "Close but not too loud"
I liked the RSC because it was very close to the Quarter but not so close that it was loud. There's lots to do and see in the Central Business District, and you can easily walk to the Quarter or in the opposite direction to many museums.The staff was very friendly and helpful.
