"Birthday"
Second time to stay at this particular Hotel and the second time our room was not cleaned during our stay. No big deal just a service we paid for and didn't receive. Otherwise it is a great place to stay right in the heart of the French Quarter.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Amazing location!!!"
I believe that I will stay at this hotel every time I come to New Orleans. Although the rooms are small, the hotel is a great place to stay at. The staff was helpful, courteous, and respectful. They had an answer for every question. The hotel is actually on the corner of Orleans Ave and Bourbon Street. With that being said, you can have a blast on Bourbon […] Street, then walk right to your hotel room to recover. Also, the hotel is within a 5 to 10 minute walking distance of Royal Street, Decatur Street, and Frenchmen Street. Royal and Decatur have tons of boutiques, art galleries, and eateries. Frenchmen Street is like the local bar/club scene. In my opinion, it's better than Bourbon Street. And the hotel is literally right behind Jackson Square. Great location, great hotel!!!! "Perfect Mardis Gras Hotel"
Nice hotel with beautiful lobby. It is also perfectly situated within the heart of the French Quarter; great for Mardis Gras or other French Quarter festivals. Our room was nice, comfortable, and clean...but not fabulous. The bath was fairly large and attractive with black tile. The room also came with a safe (definite plus) and a coffee maker. During […] Mardis Gras everyone had to show an identification bracelet to enter the hotel. While the bracelet was a little uncomfortable and could not be removed to shower, it at least kept the hotel a peaceful and quiet refuge away from all the street activity. "Bourbon Orleans"
Doorman told me I should wait for airport shuttle in Lobby, that I would be informed when they arrived. Looked up to see shuttle leaving, I was forced to pay extra for a cab to airport. Desk staff VERY helpfulGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Friends weekend"
I loved the rooms and the location. I have stayed here many times and will stay there again. The bathrooms were great, but the shower heads need to be higher and the soap/accessory basket not so close. I am over 6 feet tall and it made it difficult to get under the spray.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Right in the heart of where things go on."
Stay was very nice. Try to go to NOLA at least once a month and Bourbon Orleans has become the hotel of choice. This is my fourth stay there and will be back there next time in town.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A++ features & service right where the action is."
We loved the historic charm of the hotel coupled with first class updates, amenities and wonderful service. We were within steps of Bourbon Street and easy walking distance to all the sights and shopping. Once inside the hotel the quiet and security would make you think you were a world away. A perfect combination for enjoying the French Quarter.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Luxury!"
I love love loved this hotel. We stayed in the double room on the first floor. The room was beautiful and very clean, and the room opened up to the courtyard with a pool. By far the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. If you happen to sell the bedding, we'd be very interested! The only downsides were that the amenities were expensive- we wanted […] to print a ticket to a tour and had to pay $5.45 for 15 minutes of internet, and then to print one page was an additional $1.75. Room service is also a tad overpriced with room services charges and delivery fees plus tip. But overall, the hotel was excellent, I will most certainly be staying there again on any future trips to New Orleans! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Terrific French Quarter hotel"
The Bourbon Orleans is right in the center of the French Quarter and is a 19th century hotel that's been beautifully updated. Great service, very nice rooms and terrific location all at a reasonable price i.e. about the same as teh Marriott or Sheraton but with a lot more character. Will definitely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Coureteous staff. Nice pool area. Very good breakfast which was reasonably priced. The only downside that i experienced was that i had to ask the front desk everyday to send housekeeping to make up the room. It did'nt get done until 5 or 6 o'clock in the evening. Overall, a pleasant stay at a nice hotel. I would recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel, Bad Room"
We had a wonderful time in New Orleans... unfortunately, our hotel room had some kind of moisture problem and smelled of mildew! Our friends stayed in the room next door to ours and they didn't have the same problem, so I believe it was just the room itself, but I'd be careful and request a change as soon as you walk in if this is the case. We ended […] up not requesting a change in rooms because at first we just assumed that all rooms on the ground floor had this issue and we didn't want to be far away from our friends. If you have any kind of allergies, it may be a serious issue. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Weekend with Friends and Family"
Overall, I was very impressed with this hotel. We stayed there for a fun weekend and to check out the facilities as I am planning a wedding to be held there next April. The hotel staff was very professional and the door staff was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful and very clean, quaint as one would expect from an old New Orleans building with historic […] origins, The hotel had a European feel. The only problem may come from having a room on the Bourbon Street side as street noises were evident through the night on the weekends. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Beautiful hotel, helpful staff, great location"
I loved this hotel. I booked it for my best friend's bachelorette party weekend. All the girls loooveed it. The room rates were very reasonable for all of us to split for the weekend. The staff is wonderful, so friendly and helpful. It's in a great location -- walking distance from everything we did. The hotel itself is also beautiful, very clean, well […] kept, and you can tell it has a lot of history. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to main attraction"
The stay was great. Only negatives were the price for parking and shower head was not high enough, had to squat to wash my face & head. $32 per day parking seems a little high.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The nicest hotel in NOLA in my opionGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent locale"
We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. With the bar opening up to Bourbon and the main entrance just a stones throw from the Cathedral and Jackson Square, location was definitely the highlight. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any requests. Highly recommend to anyone.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay if money is no object."
The hotel is nice, location is ideal. One block off the Bourbon Street activity, but far enough away to keep noise down. Very clean and nicely decorated. Hotel staff was helpful, but slow, and it appeared they were understaffed because the people on duty moved quite slowly. It was an extra 35 bucks for a refrigerator in your room, which considering […] the already high price of the room, I thought was nickel-and-dimey. Outside noise was non-existent, however, the doors slamming in the rooms around you will waken you and interrupt romantic moments often. Hotel should adjust the doors so that they don't slam behind guests. The housekeeping crew gets started EARLY, and the doors slam at a regular clip while they are cleaning rooms around yours. The bathroom drain in the shower was very slow to drain, which made taking a shower not very enjoyable. The room was great, bed was very comfortable! Our room had the half circle windows - which the idea of it is cool, but the blinds don't do anything to keep light out in the morning when you want to sleep in after a long party night on Bourbon Street. Drapes would be a great addition to give the guest the option of closing if additional darkness is desired. All and all, the time away was nice. The room is worth the price if the hotel would add a couple of easy enhancements to make the guest's stay more comfortable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location!!"
There are so many hotels to choose from but this one was by far the best!!! Very clean and upscale!! Great staff, very attentive! The location was fantastic, go one direction and you are on bourbon st and go the other and in two blocks you are in the heart of Jackson Square!! Highly recommend the breakfast and a bloody Mary in the morning!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what it was advertised."
The room was extremely small. The maids came an hour before check out to tell us it was time to check out so they could clean the room. It took one and a half hours to get our vehicle back from the valet service. I would not recommend this hotel unless it was the only one that had vacancies.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
